Everyone showers with there under wear on
Thank god
This is true 😂😂😂😂
Those cubicles are where the inmates slept where you saw the shower switches
Awesome exploration. What abandoned place was your favorite place to explore out of all your videos? Just curious.
Hey man! Thanks for the comment, I’m so glad you loved it. My favorite? Ghost Town in the Sky or one of the other prisons I’ve done, but that’s just my personal preference:) what types of places do you like to explore/watch online?
@TheLukeExplores Awesome. I'm a new sub. Just starting to watch all your videos. I love abandoned houses and psychiatric centers. Was awesome seeing you explore Kingspark because I live 10 min from there. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow.
@Philip_smith88 welcome to the family man! I’m yet to do houses/mansions but I’m not kidding I have them on the list to do really soon. I would love a nice mansion video 👀👀 enjoy the videos, new one every Friday, this week is kinda special because there will be a double upload (yesterday, Friday). Enjoy man! Looking forward to seeing your comments going forward! Thanks for watching!
@@TheLukeExplores No doubt. I will show my friends and family your channel too. You deserve more subs 💯
@@Philip_smith88you’re the best man, posted a brand new video today if you wanna check it out! Welcome to the family
looks like aurtherkill
Got that right
That’s how medium facilities look (Medium A) aka disciplinary prisons you have an idea how most of them look. Marcy and Washington correctional facility looks very similar to this but they have 2 layers of fencing around the prison and 1 decent gun tower at the entrance.
@@BK_718 appreciate the comment and insight man!
@@TheLukeExplores no doubt bro. Take it someone who’s done a 3 year bid up north lol
That facility is Arthur kill and it was most definitely a medium level prison for men.
@@BK_718I did twice as long as you and you're incorrect
@@bannaoner13x no I’m not. Washington and Marcy have the cubicles. They were at the time of my sentence 60 man dorms. 50 cubes … 40 of the single man and the last 10 in the back were double bunks. During the crack epidemic the high surge in crime they held much more because almost all of them were double bunk. Those are cookie cutter prisons that were built with an extremely similar structure/blueprint layout. I was also in Hudson and Hudson was a medium B. Hudson was extremely different. I had a key 🔑 to my own room. There were also 6 man and 8 man rooms in Hudson layout out in cottage buildings. Not all mediums look the same.
9:06 it was the dorms most juvenile institutions do t have cells unless its maximum like brookwood
Thanks for the insight man! Appreciate the comment
It's not a juvenile facility. The name is Arthur kill and it was a medium level facility on Staten Island. Google it.
If there's conflict in America and we become factions best believe this would be a great headquarters.
Still waiting to hear why the prison system is failing in NY. Cute title though.
25 prisons closed in 15 years with multiple more on the way this to closure this calendar year is a pretty big failure. Oh not to mention did you try a google search? I promise that can help you out a lil. Basically New York DOCCS prisons are mostly operating below capacities- leading to more closures every year. Welcome to NY!
So yeah thank you no clickbait on the cute title 😂
The NYDOC is thriving at full capacity
@@GiaNt_TaLOnthe peak was about 2005 or so when we had over 70 state prisons. Not a single one located in Nassau or Suffolk county.
@@BK_718 WHY WOULD YOU WANT A PRISON IN LONG ISLAND ? UPSTATE IS A SHXTHOLE MADE FOR PRISONS
What was the name of this place ?
I’m not sure?
Is it in pharsalia near Norwich NY @@TheLukeExplores
It's Arthur Kill
WHAT FACILITY IS THIS IN NYS
TOP SECRET HIGHLY SECURED PRISON
@@TheLukeExplores I’ve been in a lot of them since 16yrs old mt. mcgregor mid orange ogdensburg Southport for a wrongful conviction I’m looking to purchase one and grow my weed legally and this is a perfect setup it looks like a minimum or medium because of fence but most minimums or camps in nys have no fence I did 13 years in ny before they found out I was innocent
Hey just outta curiosity is this camp pharsalia
No it is not :)
What part of ny is it in
Upstateeeeeeee
The block that you guys were on with the cubicles was a dormitory setting which those cubicles shared space amongst the inmate for single bunk inmates whom probably were a trustee and were housed there with other trustees
Thanks for the insight man! Appreciate the comment
Anytime love the vid’s
When I worked a county prison we use to have a same setting like that and the space was used by single lock inmates and or trustees
I guess it’s really something you need to experience yourself to understand
That means a lot- brand new video on Friday 👀
You're at a prison camp. Low security dorm.
Appreciate the insight man!
If you haven’t explored Author kill and parts of rikers and upstate you should that’s where the old cells are as well ill accompany you if needed
Have not explored- will definitely take a look. Send me a dm on insta if you got it
He's literally in Arthur kill right now 😂😂😂 there are no cells there except for the SHU aka special housing unit
there are cubicles for individual inmates
Thanks for the comment man!
Yet you have to love when children think they know everything, yet can't read an analog clock these days🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Look like the psychiatric center i was at as a kid.
Not quite a psych center but what state was it in?
Orange is the new black
True story
Definitely could be a med security facility , There was tons of them , dorms Cubicles bunks etc ... NYS has around 40 prisons left operating from something like 68 or 70 in early 2000s !! Beautiful !! Shut em down and stop sending people to prison for dumb sht !
Definitely had to of been a minimum security
It was definitely a medium.
There aren't any cells in minimum security it was dorms
We thought it was medium security before we went in 🤷♂️
Lets just spend public money to build something, use it for a few years... Then, Not use it again to a point where we have to Destroy it to build again.... Its not our personal money and the public has entrusted us to make to correct decisions. But... - New York Politicians.
Gotta love New York, they swear they know what they’re doing. Well, 25 correctional facilities closing in 15 years is kinda messed up no?
@@TheLukeExplores That looks like a building that could be used to help those addicted to Fen. they used to have County houses "Funny Farms", so those who could not support themselves, or had issues beyond their control. Majority were cared for and they ate better than anyone in the city. Would be cool if you could source out a few of them and see whats left. For a lot of those who had mental illness or just couldn't get it, 100+ years ago, would live at the "Funny Farm". just about every county had one.
Union construction jobs.
Also have these open buildings but have homeless sleeping on streets why can't they allow them to sleep in the buildings instead of on our streets
Always a question we will ask and never have answered
These ate k iwn as "cookie cutter" style medium secutiry mens prisons. The one still operating in Ulster looks exactly the same and so do a few others. Mohawk, Wyoming, Green, Franklin. This is one of the dozen or so that closed in recent years. Not sure which one.
They’re all similar, I’ll post another facility like this in the future. My first time seeing one, hope you enjoyed!
Ulster looks nothing like this. The buildings are all two dorm, red brick buildings. I spent a month there while I was going through transit in 2009.
You guys know nothing about prison lol. Those cubbies are actually called cubes. they put the inmates in there with beds and Lockers. Also know as a dorm room which makes this place a medium facility
@@adrianalan3232 well considering neither of us have had the privilege of staying there + we went in here last second w out any info I’m pretty sure we did a decent job. Also fact check your info cause it was not medium security.
@@TheLukeExplores agreed, but I've seen medium prison's owned by NYSDOCCS that have similar set-up to this.
Minimums have dorms also. Just not 60 men to a dorm.
Great place to run an air soft skirmish, just saying !
It really would be, not much to break either it’s really like an empty COD map💀
Definitely not a prison. No cell blocks will be found throughout this place. Yet I found it odd that you clarified it’s not a prison and yet you kept repeatedly calling it a prison. It’s definitely not a prison. It’s a youth detention center that many still exist and are in full operational capacity. Unlike this one. I’m not exactly sure where this one is not. There is one in my area that is still 100% active and looks identical to this one. I actually worked at that facility. Younger teenagers would be the ones that would be at these types of facilities. Cool video though.
Tbf online it’s called a county prison, so we were inside and kept reading articles saying one thing or another. That’s a raw explore for ya man! This was a last second location so we went in kinda blind
Dude that is Arthur kill correctional facility and it is most definitely a medium level state prison.
There is no privacy in prison. And medium security means no one wants to escape cause they would have 2 yrs or less on their time. An escape or attempt to would put them in max annd add more time to their sentance. Like double what they started with. Too much to text to educate vou all how it works.
Appreciate the comment man! Thanks for the insight
@@TheLukeExplores anytime. Unfortunately I know from experience. I was not such a good member of society in my younger years. It's good you have to learn your way by exploring.
That is not true. I was in a medium with people that were doing life and had been in prison so long that they're classification dropped from high to medium and they were sent to a medium level facility. I was in there with people whose DIN number started with 78. Meaning they went through intake in 1978.
And you get 7 years for escaping not double what you started with
Not a prison..
Argue with google but it ain’t gonna be me 🤷♂️
It was most definitely a prison. I've known about this place for many years.

Illegal immigrant housing? 😊
I mean hey why not at this point
The system is only failing because they don't have enough customers...the economy is so bad in New York even the criminals leave
You couldn’t be more right
Anything unless the 5 boroughs? NY politicians don't give a 💩. Why anyone still lives there is beyond me.
Hmm. Let’s see. Economy, education, healthcare, standard of living, parks and recreation. If u can’t keep up or handle it, leave or don’t come here. We’ll be just fine without ya.
Ignore how I just messed up ur conversation- I switched the names around and responded to and deleted the wrong comment 😂
It a work release prisoners going home
