  • Quick "how to" for installing the Rudder control horn and servos in the boom. I prefer to use "L-bends" on the servos rather than the supplied ball links. This way you can use more servo travel without binding the ball links on the servo cases. With ball links you may have to use longer servo arms thus losing some power and precision from your servos. Also chances of servo double centering are increases with longer arms.

Thanks for making theses videos. It takes the mystery out of doing the installs for someone with little experience doing this.

Thanks Ali.... I paid attention and learned a few things. Nice work.... No wonder your stuff works and rarely has failure issues. Weav

Very usefull video for any RC flyer! Coreless motors are very fast but will also fail unexpectedly and fast I noticed on my quadcopters; so I rather would not use them in servos on my models.

Die you have to cut a bit of the fuse for the servo horns? I wanna use new KST hs08 But think they are to big

It depends on how gcm cuts boom walls. Sometimes I have to do a tiny bit of trimming. In general I use the smallest horns possible. I think with hs08 the motor may be too long.
