Deep respect for these guys, the longest I've had to be at attention was 3 hours for a battalion formation. ( Ft Hood ) in not so comfortable boots 😶, Great Drill and Ceremony . If only the guard would be left alone while on duty.
Wow, three hours in non-comfortable boots sounds flipping torture! In fact, they've started putting barriers up to prevent tourists dicking about with the lad on guard, there have been some physical incidents of Guardsmen having to shove people away from them (videos on RUclips) because of the security risk. People can be dumb, think it's Disney and then get a shock! No respect.
@@Davidofthelost - Yes!!! They are amazing!! I had the pleasure of seeing them in person and they were stunning! It's a great honor for one to be chosen for that duty. I can understand why. I LOVE it when they tell the noise makers in the crowd to basically SHUT UP and be respectful while there.
Oops! At 37:22 the Officer of the old Guard makes a mistake and nobody reacts! They should be at attention before 'slope arms' is ordered. They wait until he does that first and then he orders them to 'slope arms' again.
question foe across all guard duty please, Why do the officers/ Color Bearers mark out the barracks at Windsor , The Barracks both at Buckingham palace an on the Parade ground at the front of the Palace , while the old Guard hands over to the New Guard?
Superb video! Will you be able to upload the videos of the bands performances separately (each song)? It is a great edited video though! Well done. For your information also, The band is The Band of the Household Cavalry.
Hello @Military Bands Everywhere ! Thank you for your wonderful comment. With regards to your question, I would rather stick to my style of how I make videos on events such as these, but if there are anything special of course, I can give it a go. And, oh yes, i did not include the "The" in the band title! I hope I can film changing of the guards in other countries in the future as well as other iconic events and landscapes. Thanks for stopping by, regards, KoAdventures
@@koadventures4526 I do love your style though it is brilliant, and the editing is done well! To film in other countries is somthing I would love to do! I did love your other video too of the guard in London!

You need a tripod to keep the camera steady or a stabilizer! Is this done every day whenever they change guards? I have to laugh every time I see them shuffle to get into the proper place. I'm glad our military just takes a step. I don't know why I find it so unusual to see them do that. They remind me of the guards that take care of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in DC. Very interesting - the piccolos are wonderful!! Thanks for sharing. :-)
I'm sorry. I have a huge respect for the British military, but the way you march makes you look lackadaisical and completely lacking in military crispness compared to other nations. The Gurkhas are the only people I see looking totally crisp. This is the changing of the guard at the Palace! While the process is so interesting, the marching lets it down. Perhaps it's because Brits march with their feet turned out. Sorry. No disrespect intended.
It’s nice to see the guards being kind to young children, I’m sure they will never forget
Very cool seeing the full footage. Thanks for sharing!

Questa non è una banda 😮
È una orchestra . !! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Meravigliosi !!!!
I find the British guards to be the most badass. Their pose & movement is so satisfying to watch. Especially the foot stomp
I think the Sentinels of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington are as well. Love to see two of them stare each other down then solute.

Ah the sound of the ammunition boots. Class.

where has the british army high standards gone too? long time ago, the queens guardsmen were clear from silly mistakes like that
He possibly was reprimanded for such a careless mistake.
Shows how disciplined the lads are though. Not even a flicker.
Fantastic respect.
What unsteady hand filmed that. Makes your eyes go all weird. Apart from that it was enjoyable.
Can I ask why sergent major didn't salute led by the new guard officer when new guard salute to the old guards?
What do the queen gurd say to the little boy in the green gurd hat on ?
Dj Bruno he said get a fucking dictionary
The guard is known as the Windsor Castle Guard, can only be called the Queens guard if the Queen is in residence
Lol gurd
Sounds like a disease.
