This time, I had the opportunity to visit Windsor castle, Berkshire, and film the changing of the guard ceremony in the castle courtyard. I made incremental recordings to film the guards marching from the Victoria Barracks, conducting the ceremony and marching back to the barracks. You can notice the difference in the weather, and the conductor of the band. The dates for filming were: 21st Augu...

Isle of Man [£1000 Challenge] [4K]

We spent 5 days in the Isle of Man in the middle of the British Isles. Throughout our time, we visited some historical venues, undertook a 7 hour hike along the east coast of the island and enjoyed in other activities. On top of that, all under £1000. In my opinion, it is an island that more than it meets the eye. A (possibly) real hidden gem for those who wants to escape from the bustling hots...

3 Peaks Challenge 2017 - A Mountain Too Far [4K]

This time I took up a grueling event called 3 Peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing each of the highest mountain from each country in Britain. It may sound tough as it just be, however, to make this a little more difficult, all locations were rainy during the middle of July! It was utterly exhausting. If you would like to give it a go, you will need a lot of training, improve your fi...

Dolomite - Last Walk (Part 5)

This was our last walk on the Dolomites. The night before this walk, we encountered some heavy rain including strong winds. So in the early stages of our route, much of the pathway was obstructed by fallen trees and debris. Later, after climbing the ski-slopes, we eventually reach Lago Boe, supposedly a dead volcano that is now deep water with a depth of several hundreds of metres deep. From th...
Dolomite - Exploring Italian Trenches (Part 4)

After walking and discovering the near-derelict trenches that was once part of the Austro-Hungarian territory, we now witness the more, highly detailed sites of the Italian territory. You can notice the structure of the trench line, its more straight. This proved a fatal mistake as a single shell blast would cause severe damage and inflict massive casualties too. But before this, starting from ...

BZ Royal Navy from a retired QARNNS
Does anyone know why it is normal that the Regimental Colour is normally used rather than the Queen's or King's colour that it is now
That is the Colour…
@@Ceremonial1000 thanks
I can’t believe those stupid tourists laughing at the captain of the Buckingham palace detachment these guards serve Britain very well 😤
These young men and ladies are special to being a guard, and have a good sense of watching those that have no respect
Bands of the household cavalry regiments life guards and blues and royals 💂🇬🇧
Is it first battalion or f company Scots guards 💂🏴
Scots guards Windsor castle 💂🏴
Omg …I’m feeling very dizzy after watching this video .. ( 😵💫shake rattle and roll )
One should understand that this is the first time since the Royal Navy's official inception in 1546 (477 years) and over 1000 years as a national navy, (King Alfred the Great) that they have been honoured with being charged with the official protection of the sovereign palaces. What a fantastic job they have done!
When you don't have a band just get a little kid to sing for you! So adorable.
Thank you so much for the subtitles, I'm American and don't know whose who so they really help.
Im very glad to hear that. I wish you well.
1:27:57. Duke of York
Questa non è una banda 😮 È una orchestra . !! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Meravigliosi !!!!
Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace normally takes place the following days: August to May - Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. June and July - Daily.

01:46:11 H M Jollies is the best!
ALSO THIS IS THEIR DAILY PARADE...I USED TO WORK ACROSS FROM HORSEGUARDS 4PM RAIN OR SHINE...I LOVED IT ..MEANT TWAS MY GOING HOME TIME..
Can I ask why sergent major didn't salute led by the new guard officer when new guard salute to the old guards?
This is routine.People don't need to applaude.☮️
They don't look British 🤢. The one possibly is.....
It’s nice to see the guards being kind to young children, I’m sure they will never forget
10:55 why is a guard running?
Thats the Scots Guards
question foe across all guard duty please, Why do the officers/ Color Bearers mark out the barracks at Windsor , The Barracks both at Buckingham palace an on the Parade ground at the front of the Palace , while the old Guard hands over to the New Guard?
Love the band playing a Sousa march! John Philip Sousa, the March King from Washington DC USA.
I will watch anything with Royal Marine Bands in it! The Guards band was brilliant too.....
The reason the Andrew don’t bang their feet Koke the army goes back to old wooden rotten ships ,known as coffin ships ,As usual they were saving money ,
2:23 he just comes up and salutes civilians (I THINK) and cameramen with his saber, showing that the royal guards have high ammounts of respect to everyone.
That is a part of the drill movement not saluting, it is called “Pacing The Minutes” where the officers walk up and down infront of their mens ranks to prove they are sober fit for duty and not afraid.
@@hardalarboard8876 oh, thats new, well what do they do in case someone is affraid?
@@manuelnotangelo2365 No chance of that, it originates in battle, not the arade ground.
The march the Navy step off to is called “HMS Vanguard”
Wonderful just love you video thank you for sharing
Anyone notice the missing drum corp guardsman. He was at the rear of the band with the other drummer (holding the colours cover) but then vanishes.
Amazing video!! Cool you got that close to them.
👍👏👏👏👏Bravo!
Only thing I could ask for is a wind filter

Hi, I work for a South Korean broadcasting company (JTBC) and would like to use your video on our tv show that we are working on. Could we use your video citing the credit line? Or could you please let me know your email address for further details?
I loved what do you do with a drunken sailor early in the morning !
Sir, for respecting The Colours, Thank you very much.
What song are the grenadiers playing at 1:03:21 ?
Why do the Officers hold the sword by the blade in the begining while they march?
Totally enjoyable!!
Why are so many of you nitpicking - just enjoy the pageantry!!
"shoulder high" ???? surely its shoulder ARMS !!
Nope, Grenadiers always say hipe/hype instead of arms.
Very nice to see the changing of the guards
The L/cpl was a tad sloppy with his drill, he should be setting an example to the Guardsman. Could be said it's been a long day for him and it takes around 45 minutes to post the guards around the castle and no sooner is he back he's just about getting the next relief ready, but he should have pride in that uniform and all it means it's his time to show off with good drill and words of command.
Why are the two officers and the flag guard walking back and forth so many times?
the ones with blue plumes on the right side of their bearskin hats are the Irish guards regiment. red plume on right = coldstream guards
