It's strange but listening to videos of how people learn English also helps me (because usually others watch movies and series), your videos help me to understand more vocabulary and pronunciation because I understand you well when I listen to you. P.S. my native language is Spanish.
I prefer watching people like you who learn and share tips than watching movies and series, the motivation that you give us is much better. From Brazil...
Hey, my native language is spanish and your advices have been helpful. I have been studying english for about 1 year and a half and It is going well. Thanks for share them. New subscriber :D.
Hi Arina! I love your videos, I have been learning English for almost 2 years by myself, to be honest I watch your videos to learn new words and the way that you talk, I think that you speak awesome, and I woud like to talk as you, that's why I decided to analize every single sentence on your videos and include it on my Anki to improve day by day :)
These tips and tricks are from Ajhoge book and I hope to help you guys . always spend the vast majority of your time listening **One of the easiest ways to practice speaking is to do story retells** - **Next step** - **After you finish listening to the story, turn off the audio. Stand in front of a mirror. Get yourself into a peak emotional state jump, shout, smile. Get energized!** - **When feeling great, retell the mini story you just heard. Do not try to tell the story exactly, word for word. Do not try to memorize it word for word. Rather, as quicklyas possible, retell the story using your own words. You can even change the story if you want.** - **The most important point is to do this quickly. Strive for speed! In a loud and energetic voice, tell the story to yourself in the mirror. This will only take you a few minutes. When you finish, take a short break and then repeat the process again. Try to retell the story even faster the next time - **you do this daily, your fluency will increase. You’ll speak faster without effort.
I hope you search about This guy because he teach me How to speak English like a native speaker and he has a lot of courses to help anyone to overcome his/her old nagitive experiences about English so you will learn the language and enjoy at the same time
What’s the main reason why can’t you understand? Because of the pronunciation? Because of the speed of the speech? 🧐 If so, then I highly recommend you to listen to natives speaker (podcasts; various videos) at a lower speed for instance and then at a normal speed; add subtitles if you couldn’t get smth. And also listen to different people because we all have our own speed, accent etc. First step we should find the main point WHY this happens so. Then work on it.
@@iam.ArinaRey Thank you for the response. Maybe I'm a little bit grumpy. The listening hss always been my worst skill. It's kind of natural, inherent. My biggest difficulty is understanding series and movies. Videos of people talking are usually easy. I once tried to do the opposite of what you suggested. I increased the speed of the video to 1.25x... and it kind of worked, but I confess that I didn't continue to. In fact, I need to accumulate hours of practice, at least 100 hours. Anyway, I liked the video. Keep it up!

Who is A J Hoge
Ji arina
I read a book in English every lesson with a tutor and do a retelling of this book.
That‘s great! Just don’t forget to work on listening skills and writing as well 😌

How old r u
Thanks, that's a great video
I’m 24
Thanks a lot!
En el caso mio no puedo entenderlo y mucho menos hablarlo , la idea es ponerme sumergirme en el idioma

It is not possible to learn English when the ears cannot hear well.
Start small; add subtitles if it’s necessary. You should train your ears and listen more and read more books to get everything
@@iam.ArinaReyhe meant your sound quality is quite low😅
Thank you for this informative video, I think you are absoutly understandable and you have a pleasant voice. I look forward to learn more.

And what about those who can speak but CAN’T understand. My case, for instance.
