First,I have to say this 65yr old grandma is in love with you two! I have been watching your channel for about six months I watched them all at least twice some more than that. Your sweet spirit just makes my day and gives me such joy.I thank God to have found your channel! It's absolute my favorite! Keep up great work and know you and your family are a part of my prayers.
Teri, I just love you! Thank you so much for your kind words and your encouragement. I'm so glad we can bring a smile to your face! You just did that for me!!
My husband and I went this weekend and seen the blind and we absolutely loved it. It shows you how much patience our Lord has for us when we do stupid things in our life and he’s always there to pick up our pieces and put us back together in his name.
PUMPKIN??? OH YES MA'AM!!! OK, A silly embarrassing memory after seeing the last item .... hubby & I were out to dinner and had HUGE salads to start and then our entrees and sides so we were full but still jonesing for a sweet ..... As our blonde waitress stood there waiting for us to decide I said well we could share a Blondie.... The waitress blushed and my husband burst out laughing and I almost fell on the floor. 😅
If you need a super fast way for the pumpkin cookies that make it seems like you baked a long time just take one spice cake mix, one small can pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling) and add chips we like milk or dark chocolate). Mix together and bake per cake directions. BAM!!!!
Mandy I’m an old grandmother but I have to tell you that you and your husband are adorable. Don’t change you are perfect and the recipes are incredible.
Hi Mandy! From one pumpkin lover to another, I just wanted to let you know what I like to do with any leftover canned pumpkin!! Pumpkin is so healthy so I love making smoothies with it. I simply add the pumpkin, yogurt, some milk of choice whether it’s regular, almond, cashew etc; sweetener of choice; honey, granulated, brown, monk fruit etc; vanilla and last but not least, PUMPKIN PIE SPICE!!! Yummmm! It’s totally the pie version in a glass! Oh and my three kitties, Vinnie, Murray and Lena Rose wanted me to tell you that they check out Gracie Lou when they hear her meow and think she’s just adorable! Enjoy!!!
I love using pumpkin puree in the fall. I even make pumpkin doughnuts with a glaze on top. I can even make a pumpkin roll. I can't wait to make a spice cake with pumpkin puree in it this weekend. These recipes I will be trying as well!! My mouth is watering right now!!!! Keep bringing the laughs!!!!! Have a great week!!!!! Love all 4 of you!!!! Hugs to Gracie Lou!!!! I want to add.... I have a cat, too!! Her name is Bambi. My granddaughter named her. When she's hungry, she doesn't just stare at me, she literally goes on a tirade. She knocks things off shelves, jumps on me, bites my hand or arm, and her FAVORITE thing to do is, SHE WILL MOVE HER DISH ACROSS THE FLOOR!!!! She's a little tyrant!!!
First, I know that I can’t be the only one who catches themselves talking to you when you’re talking in your videos.😂 If you wad the parchment up in a ball and then spread it out, it’s easier to fit in the pan. I am a baker, and you really are better than you realize! I bake several times a week, and just got a fresh apple cake and muffins out of the oven.
I will be making the pumpkin cookies. I was never really a fan of pumpkin until I tried a pumpkin dip. Its amazing and easy to make. All you need is 1 can of pumpkin, 1 8oz tub of cool whip and 1 small box of vanilla instant pudding. Mix together well and serve with Graham crackers or green apple slices. My family prefers the Graham crackers. So yummy I make it every Thanksgiving and Christmas. I had several people tell me they are not a fan of pumpkin but when they tried it they loved it😊
I'm sure you've heard this before, but it's a good idea to crack your eggs in a separate bowl when adding to a recipe... not only because of shells but also there's a small chance of something not right with the egg itself, blood in the yolk for example. It's one of those things that... it probably won't happen, everything will most likely be fine.. until it does and it could, then you've lost what you're making and must start all over. 😔 It happened to me once, it wasn't fun. The egg wasn't good, I could tell and to be safe I had to start all over again... These treats look yummy. ❤
I too, love anything Pumpkin for desserts. Yummy. Pumpkin pie is my favorite, but..our grown son loves Pumpkin Cheesecake. Wonder if Stephen would like a dessert like this.
Hello Mandy found your videos about 2 months ago , m6 hubby and I really enjoy watching together . We love your personalities and recipes and what a bonus to know you love Jesus ! Can't wait to see the Blind , we are going to watch it at our church . We were planning on seeing it at the theater then found out our church was showing it ! So happy I found your RUclips channel . God bless your beautiful fun loving family .
If you put the parchment on an upside down pan - cut slits in each corner - turn pan right side up , spray lightly with Pam , insert parchment and crease over all sides . The Pam will help the parchment stay put and allow you to lift the cake out of the pan .
My mom always put a few drops of lemon juice in the glaze for a fresher taste. your parchment paper fix, take scissors, from the corners cutting in toward the center of the paper, stopping with enough left to fit bottom of pan. You are basically splitting the corners so the excess paper can overlap. You can also spray bottom of pan so paper will stick. Love your videos, always looks like your both having fun!
I don't enjoy cooking OR baking so I was really happy that I found your channel last year. I love all these easy recipes. I still don't like cooking but I can feed myself and husband and now my son who came back home for a bit and your recipes make them think I'm a good cook! Awesome channel! Thank you from Canada.
My favorite precious couple!!!! Y’all are everything that’s good and right in this world!! I’m not a baker either honey!!! I recently got my hands on some free apples, I froze 6 quarts!!! I’ll be trying the first one!!! Thank y’all for all the hard work !!! Much love and prayers ❤
OMG I am drooling all of these sound and look yummy, as for all of us absolutely love anything 🎃 no matter what it is.😊 thanks for sharing these much ❤ to you all.
Mandy , I love you guys. I have a recipe my Grandma gave me. It’s so easy and so good. I’m sending it to you. I hope you like it. Chocolate pudding upside down cake: 1cup flour, 3/4 cup sugar , 1/3 cup cocoa baking powder , 1 tsp baking powder , 1/2 tsp salt , 1/2 c milk , 2. Tablespoons butter (soft) , 1 tsp vanilla , 1 c brown sugar , 1 3/4 c boiling water Mix dry ingredients , only 2 tbsp of cocoa, add milk , butter , vanilla. Pour in 9x9 pan, greased and floured Mix brown sugar with rest of cocoa, sprinkle over top of cake, gently pour boiling water over all. Bake at 350 for 45 min
You two are so sweet together. I have a tip for you. When you measure brown sugar, you pack it in the measuring cup. I hope that helps. Keep the videos coming.
I love quick fall desserts. My husband is diabetic so not too many sweets for us but I believe you could make the apple cake with a Pillsbury low sugar cake mix and sugar free apple pie filling. For the glaze maybe some Splenda SF Brown Sugar with a little cream heated to melt the sugar. I’m going to give it a shot. Here is what I usually make: Apple pie filling in a pan, sprinkle a regular or sugar free white cake mix over the top, cut up one stick of butter to scatter over the top, (sprinkle with cinnamon if desired). Bake at 350 for approx 30-40 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly like an apple crumble. Diabetics be sure to measure out a serving to watch your carbs.
Y’all are the best. I love your videos. I would love to meet y’all. Y’all are a blessing to me. I always feel better when I watch y’all. Please keep the videos coming.
❤ me some Pumpkin and Apple anything!!!! My other fall fave is fresh cranberries, orange zest and white chocolate. The tart cranberry with the super sweet white chocolate and floral note of the orange is 🤯.... I make muffins, or bread, or coffee cake with a cream cheese glaze. Loosely based on the Starbucks cranberry bliss bars but with fresh not dried cranberries. 😁
Oh yeah, pumpkin anything! I eat low carb but I have found ways to make so many pumpkin recipes! Muffins, cookies, mousse, lattes. Your recipes give me great ideas always, and I can convert, thank you!
I live in Travelers Rest, SC and the last recipe you made, I've been making for years. I found ithe recipe in an old SC church cookbook, it was called a SC Chewey. My version is missing the cinnamon sugar on top and made a whole lot more 12 x 9 pan. Love your channel and watch every new video and have gone back and watched all the old ones too. Thank you for taking time to entertain us all.
You can make your own fresh pumpkin filling.just pick up a small pie pumpkin, cut it in half remove the seeds then cook in oven cut side down on greased pan till fork tender. All you have to do is scrape the meat out after it has cooled blend in a blender to break up the fibers and freeze.
To make the parchment paper stick to your baking pan, put your hand under some running water and then just splatter water drops into your baking pan. Then take your parchment paper and place it into your pan. It’ll stick and won’t budge at all!
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. The cinnamon-sugar 'blondies" you make is a favorite in our home. We call them snickerdoodle cookie bars and I ALWAYS double the recipe so they come thicker like a brownie would.
Love watching you and your family. Ya'll are hilarious ( sad version of southern talk). Love to cook a lot of the recipes you present also. Thanks for being a bright spot in my life Mandy in the making people.
Hi Mandy! I learned (I'm pretty sure from your channel) to crumple the Parchment in to a ball then spread it out to get it in the pan right. I have never made any of these, but I plan to try them all!! They are all right up my alley! I think I'll do the cookies first!
Quick tip that has been a game changer. Take your parchment paper and crumple it up into a tight little ball. Then flatten it back out and it will mold to your pan SO much easier. :)
I don’t know if your familiar with the come sit at my table channel but to get his parchment paper to stay in the pan he wads it up as many times as necessary until it stays in! It works too!
Pumpkin Everything! Sweet or savory doesn’t matter to me. Pumpkins, leaves, cider & sweater weather! My time of year except we live in Texas where we have no Fall. I long for the NC days of my youth.
My birthday falls on Thanksgiving every few years so I love pumpkin everything! I'll be making the blondies first since I have all the ingredients for that 😊
Mandy I have a tip on how to line your pan with parchment paper. Wad the paper into a ball. Then smooth it out flat on your countertop. Repeat this process once again. You will find that paper will lie down in your pan for you much easier.
Give me all the pumpkin things. The Decadent Pumpkin Bars from Publix are SO good. The timing of this video doesn’t mix well with the “cut sugar out of your diet” pact I made with myself this morning 🤣
I have a very simple one for you. Take a yellow or white cake mix. Just patted into a baking pan. Add a can of pie filling, then drizzle a stick of butter over it. Bake at 325 for about 25 minutes
I'm awful at baking. The only thing I trust myself to do is throw together a boxed brownie mix. I'm not a pumpkin fan either, but the apple and blondie recipes look really good. I may give one of them a shot and see if I can get it to come out not terrible. Edit: I actually made the blondie recipe. The only thing I changed was to add 1/2 tsp of baking powder (based on the comments under the recipe) and they turned out really good! I did undercook them a bit so the middle didn't set up quite as well, but they made for a great accompaniment to vanilla ice cream. Definitely suggest trying those for the non-bakers like me who love cinnamon!
When I’m using parchment paper inside of a pan, I crumple it up a few times then I uncrumple it. The paper stays inside the pan better after you show it who’s boss. 😉
Mandy...the cinnamon sugar blondes. Really good! I served warmish..with vanilla ice cream and a few candy corns...and a cup of hot cider! Fall y'all ..🍃🍂🍁
I did the apple cake but I used the zero sugar cake mix, splenda apple pie filling in a can from Walmart, vanilla greek yogurt because I didn't have sour cream and swerve confectioners sugar for icing. Diabetic friendly and it was gone in less than 5 minutes at a family get together. ❤
I made the pumpkin cookies, but found a bag of Hershey Cheesecake morsels instead of white chocolate chips. These cookies are delicious!! Love your channel! Keep up the good work!
I've heard that, if you crumple up the parchment paper then straighten it out, it works better conforming to the pan. Trying the coffee cake first, big fan of apple coffee cake. Pretty sure yellow cake mix will work well too.
Pumpkin rolls are my favorite, them pumpkin pie. I have a new treat I've been making and LOVE IT!!! 1 Box of ReesesPeanut butter brwonies, a bag of Carmel pieces and chopped walnuts..... YUMMY!!!!!
My mom & a friend & I went to see the bind the other night it was awesome...& all ur resapes look so delicious can't wait to try each & every one of them ..have a blessed night ..
I’m not a baker. Used to bake on the phone with my grandpa. I hate pumpkin everything. I accidentally took half a pumpkin muffin because it had chocolate chips & looked like a chocolate chip muffin. After I smelled the pumpkin I was like nope. Mandy you did amazing baking. I’m going to bake Christmas cookies again this year. Haven’t baked since my grandpa passed away.
I’m not a cook. I’m not a baker. I enjoy doing both and most of the time my concoctions come out pretty good…( no one complains) But, that’s why I enjoy watching you ( and other RUclips channels) I have learned a lot from you! Just a suggestion, but if you ever want to learn some good Mexican dishes, “ Rachel Cooks With Love “ is a great channel for some good authentic Mexican recipes. Truth be told, you’re one of my favorites, and when I’m in the kitchen I’m known to say, “ Hey, y’all. I’m Mandy, and this is Mandy in the making.”
I’m going to try apple coffee cake first. Mandy you crack me up. I had a long pull your hair out kind of day and your batter chatter was just what I needed. Thank you!!!!
We have the full pot Bunn coffee maker which we use all the time. We also have a small off brand 1 cup maker. I like and keep the half caf. Green mountain coffee for it !
Hey M&S! Thanks for the fall desserts. We love this time of year like you do and there’s nothing better than a fall sweet-well, except your videos but that should go without saying😊 From a professional personal baker just a couple of hints. First, for your best cookies, always put the rack in the middle of the oven and bake one rack at a time. If you don’t and want to wait and want to bake both at the same time, switch the pans halfway through the baking time. Also turns the pans so you’re switching top to bottom and flip them front to back. You’ll get a more even bake that way. 2: Parchment paper wrestling is a blast but there’s an easy way to use it. Put the pan on top of the paper to measure the width, remove the pan and fold the paper lengthwise toward the center of the paper to fit the size of the pan. Now do the same for the other side of the pan. Unfold. Cut out each corner rectangle and then lay the paper in the pan. It will be perfect! Happy baking!
OMG!!! I just love this video! I've been following you for sometime now, and I just have to say y'all are totally my favorite family to watch...so thank you for that!!! I bake all the and I must say you did phenomenal! My best part of this video was you giving up on the white chocolate chips measurement😂. And pumpkin oh my is my favorite... I love this season too❤.
I was making pumpkin muffins a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd gotten pumpkin puree out of the freezer to thaw. I learned that day that even if you think you'll remember what's in the container, label it anyway. I caught it before it was too late but I almost made nacho cheese muffins o.O
I make a pumpkin dump cake... so good with some whipped cream. By the way, that apple coffee cake would probably be really good with some vanilla ice cream on top.😊
Yummy i made all 3 today for my grandkids they LOVED them ALL! Thank you so much you and your family makes cooking so much fun. I’m making the coffee cake for my bible study group.
Hi Mandy, if you scrunch your parchment paper into a ball and then smooth it into your pan it will fit in perfectly no more sliding around. I want to try all 3 of these recipes.
Looks delicious! My favorite Fall dessert that I’ve had since childhood and still make is what we call an, Apple Jack:) You just take a 10x15 in sheet pan, line with pie crust, then I put homemade apple pie ingredients inside, but you could use canned pie filling, then top with more crust & bake. After it cools we ice it with a thin icing, just like what you used on the coffee cake, let set and eat! It’s delicious.:)) 👍🍏🥧

You can no longer say 'I'm not a baker'. Your cake and cookies were beautiful!
You are so sweet! I still feel like I struggle so much! lol
@@MandyintheMakingI've found the main secret to baking is precise measuring! 😊
Anything with pumpkins yum yum!! And Mandy….if what you bake tastes good….that’s all that matters❤ Keep baking🍜🍜🍪🎂🍰🧁
My husband and I went this weekend and seen the blind and we absolutely loved it. It shows you how much patience our Lord has for us when we do stupid things in our life and he’s always there to pick up our pieces and put us back together in his name.

The best part of that is that you can mix and match all sorts of things. Just depends on the flavor of cake mix!!❤
That's exactly how I make them too, Mary 😋 Yum!
Mandy, I ❤️ your channel 👍👍 😁
Mandy: "Steven is doing something and can't try it."
Steven: *Whipping around the corner. "What do we have?"
😂
LOL!!!!

Chocolate pudding upside down cake: 1cup flour, 3/4 cup sugar , 1/3 cup cocoa baking powder , 1 tsp baking powder , 1/2 tsp salt , 1/2 c milk , 2. Tablespoons butter (soft) , 1 tsp vanilla , 1 c brown sugar , 1 3/4 c boiling water

Give me all the pumpkin things. The Decadent Pumpkin Bars from Publix are SO good. The timing of this video doesn’t mix well with the “cut sugar out of your diet” pact I made with myself this morning 🤣
If you snip the corners of your baking parchment it will fit in your tray more perfectly
I go pumpkin crazy in the store. Just the word pumpkin makes me buy it!
Mandy all of these look so good. I will try all of these recipes.😊😊😊
I missed Batter Chatter, thanks for bringing it back. And thank you for a non apple, non pumpkin recipe!
I really love this season too, love the pumpkin and your recipes.
Pumpkin Yay 🎉. Fall is my favorite time of year ❤
I have a very simple one for you.
I don't like pumpkin but I love sweet potatoes yummy.😊
I'm not a baker either. All of the recipes looked wonderful.
They all looked amazing!!
Love everything pumpkin and apple😁
Pumpkin,,,for me... nay but for my significant other absolutely positively yay. He could live on pumpkin anything day in and day out.
Hey M&S! Thanks for the fall desserts. We love this time of year like you do and there’s nothing better than a fall sweet-well, except your videos but that should go without saying😊
From a professional personal baker just a couple of hints.
Hey Mandy from 1 non-baker to another pumpkin cookies.
1small can pumpkin
1 box spice cake mix
1 bag mini chocolate chips. Mix and bake. My fav
Pumpkin desserts Yay!
I make a similar pumpkin cookie. Mine calls for semi sweet chocolate chips though. Totally amazing.
Will have to try the blondies first. I make pumpkin cookies and apple coffee cake but those recipes look so much easier. Time to do some baking!
I make a pumpkin dump cake... so good with some whipped cream. By the way, that apple coffee cake would probably be really good with some vanilla ice cream on top.😊
If you wad up your parchment paper in a tight ball, you can unroll it and it will mold to any shape pan you have!!
Love pumpkin anything! About to make pumpkin ice cream . Yum
Yummy i made all 3 today for my grandkids they LOVED them ALL! Thank you so much you and your family makes cooking so much fun. I’m making the coffee cake for my bible study group.
I enjoy apple, pumpkin and eggnog recipes.. apple dumplings are especially easy to make, as well.. apple butter can be made in the crockpot.
I’ve also seen people call this Apple Slab Pie, if anyone is looking for an actual recipe.:))
like pumpkin for Thanksgiving and Christmas only!
All looked delicious. Will definitely have to attempt to make them. Good job!
