This is my absolute favorite Metallica song. It's the one that got me into them. I was introduced to Metallica with all the Black Album singles being played on the radio and MTV. But one day, my neighbor was getting drunk in his front yard and had a big boom box just blasting music. All of a sudden I hear this bell ring out. It perked my ears up. Then that riff kicks in. I was thinking who is this band? Then James starts singing and I recognize that voice. Could this be Metallica? I went to Camelot Music the next time I went to the mall and started looking for that song and walked out with Ride The Lightning. Favorite Metallica album.

@@thrashnicity5913 There is such a beautiful harmony in this song before the interlude, which makes you think about a lot and sad and beautiful solo, during the interlude. So emotional song...
@@WERXWXLF it is amazing how it can be so sad without any lyrics
The theory aspect is juicy man stick with it🤘
5:04 In this moment Mr Kirk Whammot coming in with his legendary ''OUT OF TUNE'' solo
Metallica rules man.!
No matter how much people criticize Metallica just to pretend or prove that they are more technical player or better listener, they can never be METALLICA.
METALLICA R LIVING LEGEND!
I had been high school teacher, I only know how much my kids love Metallica. Even after all these 40 years , I can see so many local guys still playing Metallica, And do u think those guys are stocked because of lack of Media??
Its because their music has real feeling inspiration and influences on people.
And that's the reason why METALLICA BEING BIGGEST METAL BAND OF OUR PLANET.💎
CHEERS 🍻
Call of Ktulu is criminally underrated and is their best work in my opinion
Shred throwin’ up the Shaka in the thumbnail. 🤙
You know, the thing about Shred is that he is true metal technician. There are few like him out here.
My favorite piece of Metallica music is Ride the Lightning from the build up to the arpeggios to the spider chords that come after
Picking the Best Metallica song is like picking the Best Supercar to drive . They all perform awesome , and feel Amazing to hear . ⚡🌋🤑🤠🤗🤔🙄😳😍👀💦✨🌟💫💥🔥🙊🙉🙈😜😂🌈⭐🌠🎃
should definitely add the theory into the reaction, makes it 10x better
They were beating the string soo hard like DJ khalid
You should do an analysis on Slayer and how/why there tonality, songs sound so evil, menacing. Albums like Hell Awaits, Reign In Blood, Haunting The Chapel. Songs like Postmortem, Angel Of Death, Crpyts Of Eternity, Hardening Of The Arteries etc.
That triplet figure sounds a lot like they took it right out of the ending of "Fairies wear boots" by black sabbath .....
I love the music theory you went over and the analysis of the song, I hope to see more 🤘🏻
I wish Shred was my uncle... Imagine how cool that would be
One is the best Metallica song imo…also great choice in doing the day on the green version the best version of for whom the bell tolls, those bends on bass are so tasty and crazy they are done on bass
For me it's Master of Puppets. I find for Whom the Bell Tolls boring for an experienced guitar player and Heaven when you are first starting out. I do love the song. Your mathematical explanation theory wise of why it's so great is outstanding.
Sanitarium because there are many underrated Kirk Hammett solos that are beautiful
Most beautiful, haunting song I've ever heard.
I’d love to see a theory breakdown from you on Call of Ktulu or Orion. Loving your theory course btw.
Call of Ktulu takes me on a journey everytime. Pound for pound it's the best Metallica song and makes me feel like a sophisticated counessior of classical music.
Your humor is awesome I had to subscribe
Blackened is my favorite but this one is great too
The best live performance they have ever done for that song.
They're all amazing
The call of Ktulu is right up there along withFade to Black, Orion, Master of Puppets and Sanatarium.
Just want you to know, even though it's an unrelated video..
I spent an entre day listening to albinoni's adagio in GM after seeing your video..
It was fucking awesome
