Excellent video. I have a stone age 2006 Buick Lucerne and the instructions were easy to follow. My car has the vehicle information button panel to the left of the steering wheel, not in the center panel.
I used your instructions to program the fob on my 2006 Buick Lucerne. Thank you so much!
I did my 06 Lucerne, worked like a charm.. Thanks a million.
I'm glad it was useful
I might need you guys' help! The manual doesn't say to turn the engine to any point. It just says to start by hitting the info button. I've only tried another version I saw online, not this one yet.
Worked for my Buick Lacerne CXL with Driver Information Center...
1. Close all doors.
2. Press and hold the Unlock button on door lock switch on drivers door.
Hold until instructed to release in step 6.
3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder but do not turn it.
4. Remove key from ignition and then insert key into ignition without turning ignition cylinder and remove key.
5. Insert key in ignition a third time and leave key in ignition. Do Not turn ignition.
6. Release door lock switch on drivers door panel. A Chime will sound 3 times indicating that you are in programming mode.
7. Press both the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote up to 30 seconds.
A chime will sound 2 times if remote has programmed successful.
8. Repeat step 7 if you are programming additional remotes.
9. Remove key from ignition to exit programming mode
DP : I have an o6 Buick Lacrosse, too. There is no learning center screen. WHAT NOW ?
We have a 2006 Lacrosse , also , So far no luck DIY . Have not gotten to a menu that will allow reprograming the key fob .
Thanks , :-)

God bless
I have 05 lacross as well there is no learn feature
Um, so what do you do when it's time to change the fob battery?
Tried following these steps but when I hit the set/reset button it just flashes on the dic and does not show REMOTE KEY LEARNING ACTIVE. Do you have any suggestions? 06 model btw
Same with my 2011 lucerne
KhaozTheKid go key off engine off, remove key , key on engine off, info till press [check] to reprogram appears, then do so. you might just have to restart the procedure..
This was useless for me, I don't have the manual for my 2006 Buick Lucerne I already have the directions how to reprogram my new key fob, but I CAN NOT FIND MY TRIP ODOMETER RESET BUTTON! When I typed "Where is the Trip Odometer Reset button on my 2006 Buick Lucerne" This video came up with the title I entered and YOU DON'T SHOW ME WHERE THE DANG RESET BUTTON IS! One other site I went to when someone had the same problem the posted answer was "JUST PUSH ALL THE BUTTONS UNTIL THE TRIP ODOMETER RESET FEATURE APPEARS!!!" ERRRG, wouldn't it be your first assumption that if a person was desperate enough to post the question on the web that they ALREADY TRIED PRESSING ALL THE PROGRAM BUTTONS AND STILL CAN'T FIND IT!!! EERRRRG!
