Wow man thank you so much for sharing this! I think what did it for me was that USB Lan selection, versus choosing other sharing options. Since I'm also using a USB adapter for ethernet on the Mac. That got it to work. I was also following others and they didn't mention that. Thank you!

this only shares the internet connection not the actual VPN Connection. I tried this and internet works on xbox one but cloud gaming doesn't work even when my VPN is configured for a country with cloud gaming and xbox region is also set up from cloud gaming
I can't get the internet to share after being effected by the VPN. The connect is shared but my location is not shared. Im using PS5 but I'm sure the process is the same. Has any one got this to work on Mac-PS5 recently? I heard apple removed the ability to share VPN connections?
Can't get mine to connect to DHCP server or it can't find an IP Even when I was able to connect, the Upnp wasn't active which made most games unplayable. I'm on Xbox series x.
I’ve was having that, after messing around I found that you know when he says to choose Wi-Fi (at 2:25) after I connected my VPN, my vpn popped up as an option aswell, I’m using nord vpn. So I chose that instead of Wi-Fi (still outputting it through the 100/1000 lan thingy) and it worked perfectly fine
I am still getting the dhcp issue from xbox settings. frustrating. My vpn provider is telling me it is not possible I am about to start believing them lol
@@donnykay1232 idk havent tried vpn on it. What i can say is i play warzone 2. And switching from a console to quality PC is night and day. As far as game smoothness, features, graphics etc is it soo worth it bro. And vpn should be easy to run now if i were to try it.
Dunno. I’ve been bouncing around Panama, and my ping speed has been different everywhere. Ping speed is mostly for download speeds and online multiplayer, and I haven’t done online multiplayer in quite a while. The purpose of the video is to help people actually use the Xbox and game pass that they’ve paid for, which Microsoft apparently frowns upon in some cases. 🤷♂️

I finally got rid of the IP address error bud for some reason my vpn isn’t kicking in

ugh when I try to re connect to my internet after turning off ipv4 tyej manually then back to using dhcp, my wifi does not connect at all

Yup same here tried a couple of months ago and internet connection is fine but vpn location is not. Tell me if you found a fix!

Hey, turn the VPN off and click automatic on ip address again and after it says “it’s all good” on your Xbox then your vpn back on
