I’m one of the guys building the Red-Point app that does 3D topos, thanks for including us in the video Magnus! We’ll be in Europe in a few weeks scanning; watch this space 😃
What do you use to scan? I've considered bringing a drone to some crags and doing some photogrammetry. I'd love to know if I could contribute that to the app
I know I’m late, but to answer about the brush helicopter guy, it’s a pen twirling trick. I can do it for a few rotations with a pen… look up pen twirling or pen tricks and you’ll see, you can also see drummers do it with drumsticks. You can learn to do it with basically anything with the right balance, but pens and drumsticks are easiest and it’s always easier with a longer object. His skill is really impressive because the brush isn’t balanced and he’s climbing too! Hope this helps!
To all the routesetters, PLEASE avoid setting stuff like the last clip, ESPECIALLY in slab climbing. Had exactly the same fall due to a slip on a slab climb, and on the way down my toes hooked a hold. Result: talar neck fracture requiring surgery and high risk for secondary osteoarthritis. For a young person not a nice diagnosis...
The girl @ 7:50 is double jointed. In certain scenarios your finger will get stuck in that "broken" looking position and it's very hard to get it back out while hanging. Speaking from experience lol
8:43 I used to climb with this guy, and he used a really specific brush and he filled the end of it with chalk to weight it, he also climbs at v13. Hes the second strongest climber i,ve met behind simon hibbler.
Hey! That third video you reacted to was actually me and my content! Looks like you credited a repost account that doesn’t make original content and doesn’t ask for permission when it reposts. Unfortunate that you guys didn’t check the description to find the original, because I’m the one who took the fall and edited the whole thing, but I appreciate you guys watching my fail regardless.
It’s setting a hold that a person can hit on the way down when they slip/fall off of another climb, like the guy hitting the blue hold on the way down in the video.
Fuck yer! Best climbers/content creators/clips all in one, what more could u ask for. This is sum entertainment+ 🙌 thanks guys, and seems as u had a lot of fun which translates so well
When my dad was a kid, a car slid off a jack onto my grandpa. A worker at the top of telephone pole saw it. My dad said he got down in three “steps”… the event was scary but you can still see the awe in my dad’s eyes when he thinks of that guy 👏 Just an average-Joe man doing crazy climbing moves to get down and help him :)
My guess is putting a hold or feature directly below a point that climbers are likely to slip off, especially on a vert or slab wall like this. If you see the video, his left foot bounces off a hold that was directly below his slip point. It's taboo because it increases the risk of unnecessary injury.
My gym sets a TON of climbs that are slippy with big volumes and holds right below where you'd slip, and I have definitely hit one on my way falling down before. Hurt enough I was worried for my ankle, but was fine. But yeah, definitely made me scared of their boulder routes, so I stick to ropes with them...
The pole climbing as far as I know was originally a logger’s play day event, which is an event where loggers compete in various competitions related to their profession. In the events I have seen with the climb they actually bring either a chainsaw or hand saw slung on a rope up the pole with them and have to slice a chunk off the top of the log then repel back down. A lot more interesting when they’re flying up and down that thing with a chainsaw attached to them! These competitions are all over the states and I would assume other parts of the world too where there is a timber industry.
It’s amazing that Magnus doesn’t think he’s freakishly strong. But I guess he’s comparing himself to him at his prime or to other professional climbers. To a regular person and beginner climber like me, Magnus is definitely freakishly strong!
We all know magnus is just being humble about his climbing this past year. Your strong as shit for your body weight. We have all seen it with the worlds strongest men.
@james-climbs-soft Awesome to see one of your vids make a Magnus list, but my anxiety still spikes a bit each time I see you take that fall barefoot even though I know you were ok after lol.
The brush trick is the same as the drummers drumstick spin. It doesn't go around one finger, rather it osculates back and forth quickly between two fingers
I’m one of the guys building the Red-Point app that does 3D topos, thanks for including us in the video Magnus! We’ll be in Europe in a few weeks scanning; watch this space 😃
Y'all should do a Strava integration! They have a pretty nice API to work with
This is groundbreaking. Excellent work!
What do you use to scan? I've considered bringing a drone to some crags and doing some photogrammetry. I'd love to know if I could contribute that to the app
Hope you will go to italy!
Have you considered allowing users to submit scans of their local crags?
This was so much fun man, thanks for a good time in Norway!
when will you post the video Emil?
i like how someone commented before emil
Did you nerd out for 100 hours to get the brush spin?

Enjoyed looking at some top-tier memes with the boys!
All these guys look like a Magnus from an alternate dimension. Magnusverse.
Meatballland
It's called Scandinavia
@@sambeard4428😮 you mean they all look that good and not like a lump of pummeled mince meat ? 😂
It's just magnus in different disguises
Oh snap, content with the Sweden boys begins. Let's get it 🚀
I’m the guy who did the brush spinning boulder, crazy I’m in a Magnus vid 😂
Drumstick spin?
Link to the original vid?
you didn't match
Sean this is crazy. You tried to teach me and it is so hard.
You guys need to do a collab
Is it just me or has magnus been laughing more in the videos lately?
It's amazing to see magnus laughing more
he evolved into his next phase. "laid back kinda chill magnus, who just climbs occasionally to humble some gumbies"
The multiverse climbing collab we all needed
They used to collab in the past before Magnus got big.
To all the routesetters, PLEASE avoid setting stuff like the last clip, ESPECIALLY in slab climbing.

yeah, had someone break a foot on a hard slab at my local gym because of setting like that
All my friends in the Engineering major years ago all knew how to twirl a pen even when talking to me. I could not do it! LOL!
This should absolutely be a series! Really fun to watch. Love the vibe
The girl @ 7:50 is double jointed. In certain scenarios your finger will get stuck in that "broken" looking position and it's very hard to get it back out while hanging. Speaking from experience lol
The moment you realize every single climber in those videos was Magnus in different disguises 🤯. Wait for those next videos.🤯

This is just the video I´ve been waiting for for years since the last collab:D
Your collab videos back then were awesome, super great content.
It's so nice you are doing it again :)
You heard it here first folks, we're top tier content. Thank you! 🥳
Was waiting for this collab to make a return! hoping for some more collab videos coming soon!
The nordic gods have assembled
That fake laughter was way funnier than the memes 😂
This is like the Avengers of top rock climbers in RUclips
Love the vibes everyone is so funny and charming and chill
OH MY GOD SO MANY AMAZING PEOPLE IN ONE VIDEO IT'S ABSOLUTELY AMMAZING
10:46 I am curious what the setting taboo is that Nikken referred to.
It’s setting a hold that a person can hit on the way down when they slip/fall off of another climb, like the guy hitting the blue hold on the way down in the video.
Love this channel. Such good vibes
Oooh can't wait for the collab vid!

Eric just makes every video better.
Always love a creator who shouts out other creators

We need a climbing collaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab!
Can someone explain what the “setting taboo” is that Nikken refers to at the end?

@@Whueso I had a friend break an ankle in two places due to a slab fall like this 😩
Its so true. Watching Magnus climb it looks like anyone can do it yet you know without a doubt that its next to impossible. The guy is a god.
I know Magnus isn't a pro, but watching him climb is so satisfying. It's so clean
Meme 👏 Review 👏
The featuring we needed

"Not a professional climber" says one of the most highly paid and recognized climbers out there
so friendly and cool group, nice video thks
Great colab👏
"It's good it was the leg and not the knee" - Magnus Mitbo

You can find these events on RUclips, might make a good react video too!
Big ups to Red Point. Best climbing app out there!
That was a pretty fun watch :)
back to the roots
first videos I saw, were of you and Nikken climbing)
I can do the spinning-round-one-finger trick with a badminton racket, but a brush is so small that seems incredibly hard!
great video please make more!
🗽 The brush trick... ask a magician! I think there is a very thin colorless cord.
.
Me and the boys watching memes at 3pm.
Quality boys hangout time 👍👍👍
Nikken and Magnus together?!?!?! YESSSS!!!
Magnus said he’s starting to feel pain as he’s getting older, where as I always feel pain and feel more as I get older.
Great content. ❤
Those 3d topos look amazing. I can never find routes😅
Ah, the infamous SeanRHM =D
That brush spinning is easier than it looks. Magnus got the idea at the end... it's possible with a toothbrush too, a bit harder though.
Crimping with your toes... next level skill
Seems great climbing genetics and great hair genetics are linked in some way.
Loving this channel!
@EricKarlsson & @EmilAbrahamsson & @Magnus best content of the year and we aren't even into March yet! This was super awesome
are you filming the course with Alex Megos in the gym in Bubenreuth?
So Magnus has been having pain recently 😮
I get it if i dont work out its as if the bones and ligaments are hurting from not being under stress.
It’s Nikken 👍👍😂😁😁😁
😵💫I THOUGHT ALL THREE OF THESE DUDES WERE THE SAME GUY: ERIC ABRAHAMSSON.
to spin the brush around your finger you need a little bit of moisture, I'm always doing it with my toothbrush ;)
It’s amazing that Magnus doesn’t think he’s freakishly strong. But I guess he’s comparing himself to him at his prime or to other professional climbers. To a regular person and beginner climber like me, Magnus is definitely freakishly strong!
There is a climbing game called New Heights, do a video on that please
Next, someone will climb while solving a Rubik's cube! It has already been done while juggling the cube, so my proposition is not crazy at all!
More of this crew watching memes.
“Classic setting taboo.” Yeah that’s my local gym. Not entirely uncommon there
FAZA BRUSH! the best!
So what this tells me is that there’s going to be more Stockholm content from magnus… maybe
We all know magnus is just being humble about his climbing this past year. Your strong as shit for your body weight. We have all seen it with the worlds strongest men.
COLLAB WITH BROWNEYYY
Yup
My fingers cramp and they kind of stick out and spread in a weird way….leaving me very confused onto it’s odd placement and why there….
@james-climbs-soft Awesome to see one of your vids make a Magnus list, but my anxiety still spikes a bit each time I see you take that fall barefoot even though I know you were ok after lol.
Yeah ! The Swedish crew !
the cramp thing seems to be electrolyte related and I'm pretty sure there is a strong genetic component.
haha this is great, good vibes
Love the content ❤
He used two fingers for brush rotation 😅
10:54 two eric karlsson? :O
Nikken is part of the EKB channel
MOST INSANE
COLLAB WITH BROWNEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Hello climbing stuff
you didnt see the guy not clipping the speed wall and splatting from the top of the wall? he survived and will make a full recovery b ut damn
looks like eric karlson is not climbing anymore :D
He's been out for a couple of years due to ill health but is starting to get back into it
Wait what...mag gotta rejuv.

So many boulders =/
I wanna see rock climbing
Just add climbing stuff and its perfect
Wheres climbing stuff?
the scandi squad.
Idea for a video, could you take the "Fake Magnus" idea one step further and pretend to be a beginner in a competition?
Good vid
Why is he wearing a shirt?
MORE MAGNUS

No it’s not bruh it goes around my finger 😭
@@seanrhm No way!! HOW!? lol
I think he was doing the drumstick spin
It’s not a drumstick spin, the bristles rest on my finger and I spin the brush around it
This video was way over polished!! lol you can just Chuck ‘em out there on this channel, we’ll watch
