    LOL a few of you are still tickled by my genetics point. Look at it from this point of view. If I did not take proper care of my hair. My hair would not appear to grow this fast because I would have suffered from major hair breakage and setbacks.I didn't figure out my hair grew this fast until recently because this wasn't always the case.I'm telling you guys all that has helped me increase my hair growth in this video. If you want to blame it all on genetics then fine but that's not the case. If we are going to be talking about hair growth and length retention in the same sentence.

    Yes people, genetics determine how fast your hair grows , but length retention determines on how you care for your hair. Some people dont have to do a lot and their hair blossoms, some people have to have a strict regimen to have their hair blossoms. Its all about finding something that works for you regardless of curl pattern. It got nothing to do with how loose her hair is.🙄

    • @doThatGWalk
      @doThatGWalk 7 лет назад +9

      xtel folaj It kinda does since looser hair is easier to care for however that doesn't exclude them from having good hair care practices.

      Absolutely correct! I have a curl pattern similar to Razor in the back but 3b in the front and sides but my hair doesnt grow back fast and I have to do ALOT to retain length. My sister has a tighter curl pattern and doesnt baby her hair like I do and her hair grows crazy fast!!! Idky people get caught up on curl type.

      Latoya_the_ Natural how often do you oil your hair?

    • @justtoya6579
      @justtoya6579 7 лет назад +11

      jaycyntha4 about 2-3 times weekly but i warm up the oil befor i use it! It turnes into a hot oil treatment that you leave in but massage your scalp that stuff speeds up growth like crazy 😊

    I'm the same way. My hair grows really fast IF I follow my routine and detangle well. Itll grow 5-7 inches a year but if I get lazy itll break off and stay the same length for months

  • @nataliewalters2759

    My hair grows at the same rate at yours! I've been transitioning for a years and four months . My new growth comes two inches past my shoulders but I still have four inches left of relaxed hair. When it's straight my hair is almost waist length. I plan on counting my ends in another five months. Then I'll be 100 natural!

    I work at Sally beauty supply store and they just discontinued wild growth oil if you look the last ingredient is says wild growth nutrition complex and that’s basically ingredients that Is not approved by the FDA so your hair will become dependent on that and as soon as you stop using it your hair will fall out ...just a helpful tip

    your hair grows fast so you need to trim more often someone growing 1/4 of an inch a month. I trim every 4 months. Paying attention to how my hair feels, the ends what they look like etc.

    It's true it's all genetics. You've always got long hair. Routine or not your hair will continue to grow. My sister hair is like that. My sister is not consistent at all, her hair still grows so long.

    • @Razorempress
      @Razorempress  7 лет назад +19

      lol If I didn't have a routine or take proper care of my hair. My hair would break and fall off and appear to not grow.

    fast hair growth.. genetics... and looser curl patterns.... and hair porosity...

    • @Razorempress
      @Razorempress  7 лет назад +49

      lol What does Looser Curl patterns and hair porosity have to do with hair growth now? Hair growth and hair maintenance are different things. They're many ladies with tighter curl patterns on here that grow fast hair. Why is proper hair care never a reason?.

    • @sugarbear9118
      @sugarbear9118 7 лет назад +7

      Razorempress You Are Correct! Proper Maintenance Is Crucial!

    • @thewrathtocome4971
      @thewrathtocome4971 7 лет назад +4

      True. Very few black women attain long hair. Looser curl textures tend to be much longer. There are some people with very kink hair that is long, so there are exceptions, but it's not the norm.

    • @xtelfolaj
      @xtelfolaj 7 лет назад +26

      Its not the norm because a lot of women dont know how to care for kinky hair . you can't look at the same hair practices of curly hair and think its gonna magically work on kinky. If you learn your own hair, and accept it for what it is you wouldnt have that problem. After big chopping 2 years later, I reached armpit length. It has nothing to do with curl pattern.
