Lars, Thank you so much for your videos! I am new to Fusion 360, a long-time SketchUp user. I've spent a lot of time looking for tutorials/videos working to learn F360. I keep coming back to you. I have watched a bunch of your backlog (hours and hours!). Every video offers great information and your teaching/presentation style is great! As a new F360 user, I really appreciate your support and content!!

Cool Lars! Thanks for making videos always. Just a bit confused with the new icon of f360. I think the bulb is better than the eye, my 2 cents.

So when exactly would it be best to create different components and thus make an assembly? I know you said if you wanted greater detail, are you insinuating you could not get very detailed in one sketch? Thanks!

Unless doing some really specific demonstration imo it's more useful to model something like that as a space reservation for actual installer. Let's be honest that it's just a common usually meaningless model, excluding space you need for it. Especially since this is general air component and very likely is changed to something else in field some year. So just make space reservation, plus add some tolerance for future. Modeling everything in unnecessary tight space is doing things wrong, unless it's a very specific need to do.

Btw the new interface makes finding stuff I just learned nearly impossible.
For example I wanted to swith to the Patch module and extrude a curve BUT the "fancy" new interface doesn't have one - at least not in the same place.

Change for the sake of change. I'm more concerned with the fact that the Camera view will change from the nice 'Perspective with Orthographic Faces' back to Orthographic every time I create a sketch! To top that, now when I press 'Q' to Press Pull, the sketch no longer rotates slightly to reveal the press pull arrows. Nightmare. I cannot roll back to the previous version and am stuck with this now. I did a clean re-install to see if that helped... Same results. Running latest Mac OS. All up to date.

Each menu item has a submenu under the three dots on the right. In this submenu you can add this item to the toolbar or to the Shortcuts ("S" key) menu.
