+james peirce Apparently, they tried having this Music City Roots thing at the Loveless Cafe, which is completely wrong for it. It's a restaurant where old people go to eat dinner at 5 pm. Good ham & biscuits, good fried chicken, but not a very good music venue. They've since moved it to the Factory.
Saw him live last weekend in 🇨🇭Absolutely great show🙏 Go on, Chuck👍👍
Killer song, killer performance!
I dance every time I hear this song......or most things by Chuck Mead.
Chuck and Grassy Knoll are great, class act. See them if you can
Fantastic version of a classic tune!!!
that is smoking ...don't get any better than this
Love that steel guitar. The public doesn't seem to be very enthousiastic, eh :P
Saw these guys the other night at Knuckleheads in Kansas City. The dance floor was crowded most of the evening.
Does the song justice great rendition!
Chuck is great use to see him at Tooties with BR549! He's the real deal!
I agree, bunch o' squares who have never heard of Johnny Horton.
Awesome
ffs where are the jivers ?? this is a great cover.
This song was originally recorded by Johnny Horton in 1957.
Jesus, was this at a funeral?
Great song from the 1950s.🎸
The steel player could pass for Jimmy Page's twin-brother.
Were the audience expecting a funeral service.

I would have thought the older folks would like it, since it was an old Johnny Horton song. Well, who cares....Chuck and the boys rock!
It must be hard to sing in front of mummies that we took out of the fridges
