    Sweet, I’m making some giants now. Trying to weed torch burn wire and oil They are fun but I’m certainly not fast. Great fun projects these. Thanks for sharing.

    For those who want to try this, here is a tip...Don't try to do the split cuts on a new log that still has moisture in it. Let your logs dry (cure) for a few months first.

    Nice benches, thanks for sharing. Makes me want to go out and build one using dovetail joints with my old trusty JD 55EV/ECHO 550EVL I used when I was 18yrs old 37yrs ago when I was a lumberjack in W.N.Y. :-)

    why use a moon shape for the back rest? would be a lot easier to use a flat slab like on the seat.
