Heard of Rollins ages ago and kinda liked his music but only recently came across his social commentary and interviews. Blown away by the his creativity and humanity.
This man is phenomenal.
He Never Died was a GREAT movie that got damn near zero recognition. Shame, really.
Henry Rollins is an interesting dude.
AppealPlay we are watching it on Netflix tonight! Hopefully it will get recognition on that platform.
I know just finished watching the movie, he’s a blooming great actor, I loved the way he used his expressions to get his point across, up till I watched a recap of his movie and just had to hunt out the movie 😹😹I had never heard of him now looking for more on him 😊
Just watched He Never Died and I loved it. Made me google this guy, he's pretty fucking awesome.
Dude! Go for it! Henry Rollins is a Beautiful person. i recommend you watch Henry Rollins - Critical Conversations
You should check out his old interview show that was on IFC. I think you can find clips of it here on YT
I highly recommend "Henry Rollins : Provoked"
Rollins is pretty much good at everything he does. A real, genuine personality as well.
listen to my war and break everything in your house even your dad
I'd go nuts over a He Never Died tv series
Good news!
@@armandoarrojo9841 huh? what's happening?
watched it on nerflix so goddamn gooooood
Loved He Never Died and find Henry Rollins intriguing. Had to Google him. I'm a nobody and have never wanted to meet anybody as of yet, but him...well I wish I could. Dream on I know. Anyway can't wait to see He Never Died 2 and will purchase the movie. Thanks
I love him so fuckin much
me too..such an inspiration
just because he's cool
He isn't Anti-white at all.
If you mean he is Anti-White because he travels all over the world, doing USO tours and spoken word shows for people makes him really awful.. :(
Me too.
He is so genuine. Refreshing to see.
Henry is the ultimate role model
If I were ever at a Black Flag concert, (or any band Henry was fronting) and the electric went out. If the venue could rig up a spotlight, I could listen to Henry tell stories for an hour and a half and feel like I got more than my money's worth.
One of my favorite movies !
Henry Rollins is a force of nature. He defines this movie. Imagine if Batman didn't spend a quarter of his time telling people that he's a badass, and instead was, like, "There's you in the way of me having to take a massive shit." But he never says that out loud.
I can't take it Henry, it's just too good. RUclips is your friend right now and it's got you teed up, brah. Waitin' for the sequel, you know, just saw vintage horror interview and you knocked me out, man. We think too much alike. Gotta go .... "I'll be back".
What a wonderful interview :)
i'm watching this and having intense deja vu. kicked off hard when he started talking about singing with colbert and i thought to myself, "yea i have def been in this moment before..."
I would love a tv series on it with Henry .. it would be a phenomenon
He was in a season of Sons of Anarchy as a white supremecist
don't worry about 2017 Henry, you won't be sitting around. if worse comes to worse, i'll write you a fuckin' script
Loved He Never Died. Henry is perfect for it. I would like to see him more often playing leading roles in movies!! Plus I wanna cease this oocsion to tell Mr rollins he's been a role model to me. I'm starting a blog that's kinda really starting to get off the ground and I try to have his attitude and to really always move forward. I would so love an interview with him!!
He's quite accessible, write and ask
How awesome would a buddy movie with Rollins and Dinklage be? Hollywood is stupid if they don't make it.
Whats the name of your blog?
Loud Alien Noize
Excellent movie. Eminently re-watchable for Henry's performance alone.
yes please. great flick
I really really like this movie. Mr. Rollins plays an amzing role!!!
Thank you .
Rollins is cool beans.
Great film perfect casting brilliant acting and hilarious too
GREAT!
07/05/16 - A very violent movie but one of the better movies I seen in the past few years.
I liked this movie, Rollins is strange, gotta love him.
Such an awesome flick. Recommending it to EVERYONE!!! (Like Stan's line in The Professional) Up there with Let the Right One In (svensk version) and Warm Bodies for genre bending uniqueness.
At 6:30 and 6:38 it sounds like the playback speed is at 1.25x
i think he's Travelled more than me and thats good going!
How about you put your traveling skills to good use and fuck off
I saw the trailer. It works.... scary
Rollins is the fucking man! Black flag Rollins band rock
The feature of time, is anger doesn't free anyone from it.
I absolutely love this movie, but I need a commentary or something cause things like when in the movie he says that the old people don't distract him, but he never says why. Here he tells us it's because they're veiny and stringy and full of drugs. But there are bunch of other questions I have that I'm confused about. He said he was on the wagon, but he was always buying the human flesh from the intern... Was it LIVING flesh he wasn't wanting to eat? But that can't be because he tells his daughter he never eats anything with any blood in it, yet he's buying the flesh from the intern..... I'm not sure if I'm just slow or if this is a huge, gaping, fuck-off big ot hole. Doubt it's a plot hole, too big...
pain remmain vaincoxed
Any word on the TV series?
they watched me take them to farm
im not into life since i was robbed june 2016
the film? yeah, liked it... strangely enough.. conveniently enough...
he was very distant. which i surmise is his own personality projected... don't you feel?
I thought the host Joe was Bob Mould. Hahahahaha! Wishful thinking i guess.
Matthew Pettit Sugar
Is it just me or is there this undercurrent of spite/bad blood between Rollins and the director of the movie ? Focus on the body language .
I can kind see why everybody likes the movie, but you have to admit that the movie needs to be retweaked and with different stars. Why is it that he seems like he's retarded or slow or just not keeping up with anything and before anyone says that's the purpose of the movie, and if it is the purpose of the movie why not explain why he is like that throughout the whole movie they never explain why he acts so dull and unaware. If that would he was going for he did a great job of that I'll admit. A lot of things didn't make sense to me for instance why throw the bullets bullets when he had the guy in the shower into the sink or for instance right after that he took somebody's finger and ate it, the only thing he spit up is one little piece of bone, a finger has many bones in it should have been much more it was no crunches in the chewing either. I hate to sound complaining but there are a lot of structural problems with this movie. They should take this movie and rewrite it with real movie type people the actual story itself is great. If you disagree with anything I've said you can contact me at
nighttimeent@yahoo.com. Yes I am a couch critic but I definitely know what I'm talking about.
he never dies is cool but The movie from 2016 , which he plays a pshyco... man , not even funny.. but Henry is cool
If there ever was a cult film, this one is.
10 years from now it will be a cult classic for sure
@@armandoarrojo9841 9 years after I saw it for the first time and I agree.
Henry Rollins seems simultaneously the most enthusiastic and the most uninterested person in the world.
Such a great film alot in the film I didn't expect really covers the faults in immortality and the concoquence that comes with it
What an honest, inspiring guy
This would be amazing as a TV series. HBO, Showtime, Starz, AMC...you know what to do.
+TheColdnub Sort of. A web series is in the works.
It's unreal how much drive he has.
Me too. His honesty curiosity, humility, have always impressed me. Anyone who meets me will be introduced to him (via RUclips and my DVDs). If they're not at least a little curious to see more, then I get bored. It's not that I'm in love with him; I'm into anyone who has the same qualities. Next month, he'll be in Portland, Oregon doing his slide show, and I have a ticket to attend. It wasn't cheap ($150+), but barring WWIII, wild horses couldn't keep me away from an experience I won't forget for years.
why this film isn't a TV series? i just watched the film like 15 minutes ago... i liked it, there's so much that wasn't said, and that fucking ending? i was like "WTF? are u torturing me?" geeez i need to see more
The creators said they are going to follow it up with a series. Henry has said in interviews he is really excited about this idea because the character has existed since the dawn of civilization, so the amount of material they have to work with and stories they could write him into is endless.
I'm happy to know that, hope to see it soon
The fact that no questions were answered is the whole point.
The moral of this story is "God hates you, really."
Frankenstein Monster yes we are torturing you.
Myself and Mr.Rollins are worlds apart politically, aside from the compassion we both share for our fellow human beings we probably don't agree on much else!!!However I'm hypnotized every time I listen to him speak.I admire him because one other thing we have in common is open dialogue and the want get some things in order in not only the U.S. but in all parts of the world.Open dialogue is rare on both sides of the political isle here in America.....and we need more of it for sure!!!!
Rollins is an inspirational hero, no less amazing than Richard Dawkins, or Peter Zeihan.
He says hes not a great actor, thats bullshit, hes awesome
Fantastic..........................................
Henry Rollins is the man
I loved the movie.
Great movie, great star.
Please do a series.

I once did a scene with a girl I loved (foolish kind of love, girl had no interest in me whatsoever, just thought it was kind of funny) and the chemistry was just perfect, people thought the result was amazing.
That inspired me to take an acting class where I met the absolute love of my life to this day, a perfect 12 on a scale of 1/10. It's now 12 (!) years later and I can only quote Phil Collins: "you coming back to me is against all odds and that's what I got to face".
One day... One glorious day, they will supply Henry with a chair which doesn't look like it's about to turn to splinters beneath him.
