Gotta love RUclips!!! Unplugged like the first step says and BAM sound came back on. My mom was so mad thinking her new TV just took a shit on her. Thanks so much!!
My sound cuts out on my U8G but what i noticed is its only things connected to the hdmi ports,if I boot up an app via the tv itself i get sound,i even get the remote sound beeps & boops from the tv,sure unplugging the tv gets the sound back but after lets say 2 hours all hdmi port sounds go off again
exact same thing keeps happening to my U8G. I reset and it fixed it and it happened again, also unplugged and that worked and then it happened again and i noticed it happened after the most recent update
@@JPLeezz perfect you messaged me at this time..turned the TV on at 8pm est to watch something ( cable tv connected to hdmi 1 ) went twice on me it's now 9:32pm...and yea this update did somethin cuz I've had this tv since Jan so..lol barely 3 months and didn't do that till that update night
@@fnggaming89 i got my tv around the same time and the same thing happened today. Its working on my playstation but i havent reset it yet. I originally thought it was just the cable but the other day it happened to my cable and my PS and it only started after the last update, what do we do now though? I had a web chat with a hisense rep and they troubleshooted the issue and had me reset it but it's clearly the update
@@JPLeezz oh i been harassing them constantly with emails ive sent them the proof of purchase/proof of warranty insurance / serial number & am waiting for them to get me a tech service person sent out...it's taking longer cuz i didn't buy it from a retail store ex: Best Buy who would send their Geek Squad ppl over..i bought it from New Egg which doesn't have tech ppl so its gotta be a Hisense Technician thats gonna have to come over to my house...sucks really cuz this tv has all the bells n whistles and works super good but this sound going out and soft resetting is really killing it for me
@@souI666 unfortunately no but I just unplugged my tv for awhile and it went back to normal. Or try when the option shows up press the power button once and then wait a bit. Idk if this will help..but you could try it

Perfect first thing worked!
All I did was to clear the cache on my smart TV and the TV automatically rebooted & the sound returned. No need for factory reset in my case.
