The audio is fantastic. It's almost like a direct recording from the studio!
I absolutely love your stories! I listen to them every night, I can't sleep because I love them a little too much! Thank you!
Listening to my favorite stories this Monday early morning. Hope everyone is enjoying😊 the story! 😊😊😊😊
2.21.22.....an excellent suspense story. Whoever does the voice of the sheriff, though, I think I'd rather listen 2 someone dragging their nails across a blackboard.
This story hinted at what is almost a fact these days;
Big business is no better than organized crime.

@@benjaminallen105 Hi Ben! Don't worry, I'm still here too!
Talk about getting a dose of your own medicine! 😂
This is a good one, I enjoy these plays.
Crisp audio, not that its very important in my enjoyment of these plays that the audio is this good but when the sound is this good it allows me to listen without headphones. Been with chillys channel now for over a year. Thanks a million my friend. Spent many sleepless nights here. Greetings from new jersey.
This is appropriate as I had my first Covid jab on Wednesday and am still having the side effects (that are only supposed to last 24 hours).
I am listening from my hospital bed been here for a week after dehydration from my shot just hoping I don't grow a tail and things the nurses were laughing about that one give it a year so we'll see what happens take care
I had Pfizer vacc 3x and no problems.
Hoping you are still doing well, somewhere! These jab bastards...
@@rhondacampbell4186Praying you are doing well! 💚💜💚
Murder mystery coupled w/ courtroom drama. Will justice be served?
@Maria Camilla Thiago
Our tastes run together. 💑 I love a story that keeps me in wonder.🌹
I am not a gun expert and my knowledge of shotguns/rifles is limited but, I would believe that if a rifle dropped to the ground hard enough for it to discharge, there would have to be some kind of damage to the rifle! There should be some kind of markings, somewhere, indicating that it may have hit a hard surface. If the ground was soft, I would be less likely to believe that it discharged.
A good point. All modern firearms made since 1970 have transfer bar safeties or internal clockwork which all but alleviate the possibility for accidental discharge from being dropped. I've noticed this from a lot of Sam Danns stories. He was not a firearms expert. Which is rather incredible as he was an infantryman in WWII! Fantastic and prolific writer though.
LOCKWORK! not clockwork. My mistake!
@@mitchsalawine5420 yes. However, people still own quite a few antique rifles.
I have listened to many many of these fantastic shows and they're a form of tonic that lifts my spirit cuz, a) they're so well written and performed, b) my favourite actor in them is Robert Dryden and he played two characters in this story, c) this was without a doubt (but only in my opinion guys n girls!!!) one of the best episodes I've heard!! I wish these were known about by more people as they truly deserve to be and here endeth the sermon.
Its a good one I also loved the 36th man. Give it a try if you haven't heard it yet.
Where my man EG?
does this jab sound familiar to anyone ?
The father of the vaccine. Donald J Trump
Thank you for all your effort. It's much appreciated. I remember these shows so clearly. Speaking of clear, the sound quality is amazing. I wish all the episodes sounded this great. This is a terrific episode. Karma is a very powerful force. I dislike Himan Brown's voice, but that's very minor in the grand scheme.
Thanx "Chilly" 📻🌌☺ You bring back so many memories + great artwork 🎯🍷
Do not be misled, this story is based on fact!
But Chaney had not become vice president yet!
You mean the Clintons
You know it's based in fact murder is what "big pharma" does best, the past two years proves it.
@@lisacup6876all of them.

I just read this story's summary.......
I'm surprised that the scientists employed by big business aren't dropping like flies, seeing how ruthless executives can be in the name of the almighty dollar.
Unfortunately, they ARE... And, have been for a long time.😢
This has very good suspense. 'Til next time.

Didn’t Darth Vader take care of the Alderaan problem???

Killer story loved it.
Another fantastic episode superior sound quality from the broadcast from NPR in the early 2000’s with Hyman Brown replacing e.g. marshal as narrator I hope more of the superior sound recordings become available. As far as the story goes you reap what you sow. June 8, 2020

You always have really creepy pics but I can't look at this one. Phobia! I'm off to Facebook while I listen. I've still subscribed though :)

This is nothing more than an anti hunting advertisement! LET'S GO HUNTING!
It's about corporate corruption and unethical practices in the pharmaceutics industry. And about how the rich and powerful are above the law. Mel's aversion to killing animals was just thrown in there to establish that he'd be unwilling to keep a medicine on the market that might kill people.
