I remember when Stella was just born, it was titled something like "did our goat birth a lamb" or something. Now she had babies and is leaving the farm omg. Stella and Astrid will be missed!!
I will miss Stella so much. But l understand your needs for a unified stock of🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 gggggggooooooooaaaaaaaattttttttttsssssssss🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐!!!!!! Pumpkin is an older cat, they have to have space to play hide and go seek. If they are in cages they can't smell eachother. Could you put them together in your garage with the cages open? Have the food in one dish so they have to share. Lots of water bowls in case of mean kitty games. Your cats are tame, my cats were feral and after a couple of swipes ; it will be ok. But you want to get this done before it gets too hot. Leave them in the garage over night. In the morning they will be more friendly.But right now Pumpkin is isolated and greiving her mommie. New kitty friends will help her feel at home. It takes a couple of days of spats, that leads to cat friendships. I am a kat lady who has taken many snippy, scared cats. And three of those cats became indoor cats that were perfect pets. Ask other cat ladies too. They are usually found in the cat food section, the older the lady the better the information. I have heard stories of large cat families feral and tame, living together. I just wanna say, as someone who didnt get asked or never had the chance to go to prom since it was canceled, using a goat to ask someone to prom is SO CUTE ;o;👍❤
I had the biggest smile on my face when he said he was nervous. Ethan is so sweet! I asked a couple boys to prom and it was really scary. I don’t think I could have said no if someone had shown up with a goat on my doorstep had someone asked me. ❤️
That was an undeniably awesome invitation to the prom, wouldn't of expected anything less from you all. That was very special....the people personally came to get Stella and Astrid that was great to see who is taking them to their new home. The goaties will be fine...Such big changes are coming up....that's life's lessons...thank you for sharing .
We’re gonna miss these girls so much! So many memories adventures and stories were made with them. It's time for them to turn to the next chapter in their lives, and I hope it has a happy ending ❤️
Awww Ethan did so good with his prom ask! I can’t believe how grown up those two are I feel like they were so young still when I started watching. I know I don’t know yalls family IRL at all but I love the glimpse y’all are so sweet. Family goals to aspire to right there 🥰
You are so strong doing the right thing for your family, for your small farm with zoning limits, and for the Nigerian Dwarf breed generally (breeding out genetic leg defects; letting Stella and Astrid go to a mini-Nubian home). What a great example.
Stella and Astrid will be missed, but how exciting is it for her new owners to have two wonderful goats to start this journey with? 💛 You're providing people with great quality goats, and I know they got the best of the best😁 looking forward to hopefully seeing future clips of these two!

With the cats, you need a cat tower or places for them to climb in that large cage while they are getting use to one another. Them both being on the ground is more stressful. Something to climb high in while in that cage would definitely help
Vertical space for cats is so important! Especially in flats. Can't imagine always having be between giants feed cats love to have some look out spots higher up. If you give em a space where they know they are safe and no human will come bother them they really appreciate it :)

I giggled at the "leave them alone for an hour" when you were trying to socialize the cats. It takes days for them to adjust to each other. But you are doing it right. Just be patient with them. I teared up when you played the short of Stella growing up. I've been watching your family since before she was born.

I really support your idea of rehoming Winnie and Winston. Even how much I love them and even how beautiful they are, your idea of a farm with good genetics will get ruined if you have a lot of goats that are just pets. And even if you don’t rehome them, I think they would be happier as a pet goat rather than a spayed and castrated goat on a farm, when they can’t even get babies or get milked🤷🏽♀️❤️
They take a lot longer to adjust to each other than dogs, that's for sure! My two cats took a couple years before reaching friend-levels of interaction. Moving into a new house helped majorly with that because of the territory shift. Shortly after we moved we caught them sleeping together where previously they were actively avoiding one another.
@@pamspray5254 We introduced our cats four years ago. It was a big change because we brought in two kittens. It took a very long time. My cats are still a bit weird around each other. I’m so glad your cats are getting along better!

Its sad seeing Stella leave. I remember when she was born a little white lamb and you guys would try spotting where she had brown patches as she grew up. Stella is such a mom and a good milker. I know Astrid and Stella will be happy and safe! I will enjoy and savor every update you post about their journey together!

Cats feel safer the higher they go...a cat tree is excellent. Being older and an "only" cat...may take some time, if ever for them to get along.
