I'm 77 and bought my Triumph Speed 400 a few weeks ago. It's great fun, which a motorcycle should be. I've been riding for 62 years.
I'm 78, and love my 765RS. It's like Z 400 on steroid. I also own a Ninja 400.
I'm 65 and purchased the Triumph 400x for riding dirt roads.
I'm in my 60s and I ride my light weight Ducati Diavel V4. Perfect Old Man bike.
Trade it in for a Rebel 500 😆
I’m almost 60 and I chose the svelte Triumph Rocket 3R. It’s lack of weight and lack of aggressive acceleration mean it’s like being on a stairlift. The one in Gremlins. 😂
Senior riders as long as they’re not 6’ or above.
At 69, I just purchased a new bike after 3 years of taking a break from motorcycles. I got a Kawasaki Z900RS. Not too low so my knees and feet feel cramped up, not too high with a relatively flat seat so I could swing my leg over it, not too heavy at 471 pounds and with the added passenger grab bar I can maneuver it around in the garage. I wanted a simple bike with plenty of power but without the bulk. Those bikes you show with the stepped up passenger seat are impossible to throw my leg over - just too high!
Old guys (I am one) will be miserable if the knees are folded up tight and their upper body weight is on their wrists. I had a Kawi 500 Ninja and it was brutal. We need room and an upright stance.
I’m 61 and have been riding since I was 10. I’m small, 5’1” so I bought the Rebel 500 last year. It’s a blast to ride, fast and nimble. All the upgrades to fuel injection, water cooled, ABS disc brakes. (Beats the rear drum brakes.) Slipper racing clutch. LED light package, digital gauge(gas gauge & clock!!!) Overall a really nice bike to commute to work on. As they say “Fun Size”
I am 72 and very happy and satisfied with my V2, 1984 Honda GL500, Overhead 4 valve per cylinder liquid cooled engine. The shaft drive gives it a very smoother and comfy ride.
NO mention of the Triumph 400?
how does a 493 pounds called "Lightweight" bruh
The 20hp of the Royal Hunter on the Royal Enfield 350 would get me killed the first time I tried riding it on the Interstate Highways. Most Royal Enfields are WAY too under powered. Not for me thanks. You would need minimum 500+ cc bike for highway riding.
The Z 400 will do 75 mph. solo cruising.
@@sportmuaythaiv1045 I do like that bike. Thanks for the info.
9:18 9:18 9:18 9:18 I agree for sure .you nailed in the head right in ...
I like my BSA.
I have been riding for over 40yrs ,I will decide what I will ride, and these days it's a Kawasaki vn2000
Age 64 and I ride a 2015 Honda VFR800F and a 2019 CB1000R.
I have decades of hard earned experienced but have had a fifteen year break. Looking to pick up another bike but the choice is bewildering. Too many nice bikes I like from all genres. I thought about a Tenere, nice bike but a bit top heavy. Might try a Street Triple but then again, one bike I always wanted was the BMW R1250R. I might just get that and be done.
Real good picks I think nailed it man ...😊
67-year-old z900rs also Indian Scout Rouge love them
Although most bikers believe that the BMW G310R is specifically intended for new young beginner riders up to 25 yrs of age ❤
70 years old, for the streets the Ducati 797 Monster for off-road Honda CRF300L which is for sale so I can buy a Rieju 300. Need to smell that premix.
I'm 71 riding a KAWASAKI Z400.❤
I'm 78, and I ride Ninja 400. Best value for the money for road riding.
KLR650 $4,299 here in san diego. and better choice.
You must be in England; you left out the GSX-R750! I hope you guys can still get used ones.
71, daily ride KTM SDGT
The Kawasaki Z400 will run circles around Hunter 350. Better yet, get the Ninja 400. You'll get good wind protection.
Ducati 800 scrambler
50 first bike 2023 duke390 315lbs
The Suzuki SV650, Honda NCX750, Kawa Z400 are ok but the others are for newby's ! I am 68 and ride a Triumph 1050, why should senior people ride "little" bikes ? Royal Enfield to vibrate what's left of your liver away !
Honda rebel 500 doesn't have a cruiser handlebar
Do you really think using a bad text reader is the way to appeal to senior riders?
I'm 75, love motorcycles, but none of the machines shown here are compelling.
Bro say the words THREE🎉
for senior riders?? those are for beginners..
Great list of beginner bikes for any age.....do "seniors", many of whom have been riding motorcycles for 50 years+, suddenly become stupid idiots who cannot handle anything greater than 50hp?
I'm 78, 5"7" 145lbs. For US. riding, I vote for Ninja 650. Very good value.
Kind of insulted. I’m 65 and have a 2008 Fatboy and a 19 Road King and don’t intend to ride a light bike that can’t handles the crappy roads in southeast Pa. any time soon.
I'm a few years younger than you and recently traded my Victory Cross Roads for a Harley Dyna Street Bob . The 820 lbs crossroads was the "Polaris Road King" and I got tired of moving that around in my garage and rarely carry a passenger. The 650 lb Dyna is much easier in a garage, more agile, and very fast. With Thunder Header exhausts, it sounds spectacular.
I thought seniors rode cruiser bikes.
Say the words “THREE” “TEN”
Any bike over 200 kg is not lightweight.
Honda rebel is most ugly motrcycle ever 🤮
Haaa Haaa Haaa you are right
