On this edition of HDMI TEST BENCH, we take a 4K Wireless HDMI Extender falling under the Vanco umbrella for a full technical test drive. The all-new Evolution 4K HDMI Wireless Extender with HDMI Loopback has a ton to offer... and is the first wireless extender I've tested that's capable of replacing an HDMI cable between a source and a TV or Projector. Watch for full details on its capabilities, why you should consider buying... and when it won't be a good fit for your application.

This will be something for my home set up to look at in the future. Remove all these HDMI cables and audio cables too from under my feet and just plug and play. Thankyou for bringing to my attention.
Thanks for watching! It's a solid piece of gear!!
Hi! does it work for editing video? I have a tv that I use as a monitor but its far away, i just wanted to know if it gets the job done with no lag
Hi! I think it all depends on how fast your computer outputs via HDMI. As you can see in the review, I didn't notice significant lag with a Nintendo switch, but there was a little delay when mirroring my MacBook pro. If you were giving a presentation or mirroring your screen for video/screen-sharing purposes, it's spot on.. But I don't think it would make a good choice for mirroring for the purposes of video editing. At least that's the case with my Mac. Hope that helps!
Hi, does this output 4k resolution? Most says capable 4k decoding but output is 1080p only
How about for gaming content - what is the max FPS many of these cannot do 60 fps (even though they support 60hz)
You might need to check their spec sheet... but I'm 99% sure it can do 60fps
@@av_nirvana it 100% can’t - tested using multiple capture cards and setups :)
@@SwitchUpYt Well... there you go!! 👏👍
@@av_nirvana real shame because it’s a great bit of kit otherwise
Hi, so this product is for people who can’t run long cables when source device and destination device are very far apart?
Yes, there's a few caveats, which we cover in the video, in general, 4K/60Hz and HD quality video in SDR aren't a problem.

$900 ? Somebody is on the crack pipe.
$900! 🤮
@@ko45allday Unfortunately, this product isn’t inexpensive. I talked to them about the price - they did their best to strike a balance of performance - something that actually works - and price. This is where we find ourselves. There are plenty of solutions in the $100-$200 range, but they don’t offer the quality and performance of this device.
@@av_nirvana yea i can do 200$ or maybe even 300. But 9 is insane for something I’m not gonna use everyday
