I've got a punching bag in my garage and I'm trying to teach myself boxing. Bivol is my favorite active boxer and he's always getting compliments on his footwork during fights. I'm gonna start training using the pendulum step.

Focus on having good footwork feet not crossing or coming close together. Stay flat footed when standing still on balls of feet when moving (not tip toes) once footwork is good everything comes together easy 🥊

I'm trying to improve this particular style, as I think it can help with defense but it's damn exhausting. Thanks for the tips, good video.

Thanks, first tip is to practise it shadow boxing as often as possible. Then run & skip in intervals. 30 s splits, 20 second split or one min splits for 2/3mins

So when we jab we can stay on the balls of the feet but while throwing combos can we stay flat footed? Cause without staying flat footed its very hard to throw combos.

Yes combos unless fast light jab crosses you need to be flat footed so probably transfer the weight. If you want power you need to be flat footed regardless of punch
But you can jab and move on balls of feet
