    High impact is a ridiculous metric. The developers of Jabbr even said that it’s just determined by the computer program looking at the tape. It’s how much fighters rotate on their punches but that’s not indicative of actual impact in the truest sense of the word. Guys like Beterbiev and Foreman can land damaging blows with low commitment shots. Just ridiculous lmao that metric is an absolute scam. Jabbr ai devs are diehard Bivol fanboys and their bias shows. Fight could’ve gone both ways but Artur did more damage.

    • @regalrobertboxing
      @regalrobertboxing 3 дня назад

      I hear you but you’re wrong. What you’re described is in actual fact a high impact punch/power punch. It’s not measuring how much damage a punch does it’s measuring the type of punch. If foreman slaps you with a right hand and ko you that doesn’t make it a cross, you just got ko with a slap. Bivol threw a lot more power punches but just didn’t do the damage lol

    Fierce combo! The practical manual “400 Boxing Combinations” was a real discovery for me in the world of boxing. It contains an extensive set of combinations that I have mastered on the bag, with my feet and in a fight with a partner. The clear structure of the lessons and step-by-step explanation of each move helped me to improve my technique and gain confidence in my abilities. Working on the bag allowed me to develop not only my speed and accuracy of punches, but also my coordination. I noticed an increase in my physical endurance level - each round on the bag became more productive and intense. The combined exercises offered in the manual make all muscle groups work, which has had a favorable effect on my overall health. Training with a partner, according to the recommendations in the book, allowed me to better understand the tactics and strategy of fighting. I acquired skills of quick reaction and adaptation to the opponent's actions, which significantly increased my confidence in the ring. “400 Boxing Combinations” really helped me to raise my level to new heights, and I recommend this manual to everyone who seeks to improve in boxing.

    @thomasrobertson2225 9 дней назад

    Great combo! Learning and practicing the many boxing combinations is a key element in the training of any boxer. Each combination is a sequence of punches that can be used in different situations in the ring. Knowing a variety of combinations allows a boxer to be unpredictable to his opponent, making it more difficult to recognize intentions and react to punches. It also develops the athlete's coordination, reaction and tactical thinking, allowing him to adapt to different styles of opponents and increasing his chances of winning. The practical manual “400 Boxing Combinations” is a valuable resource for boxers of all levels, as it provides a wide range of combinations and techniques. By working with this manual, the athlete is able to systematically study and practice techniques, choosing the most effective and appropriate combinations for him. In addition, the structured approach offered by the manual helps the boxer to organize his training and track his progress. This keeps you motivated and engaged in the training process, and improves your overall understanding of boxing as a tactic and strategy

    This is not applicable if the opponent is a few inches reach advantage. The overhand still can get through. There are many kinds of overhand that even lifts your right or left foot upon when doing overhand job. There is also also a spin up over hand , and there is also a kneeling overhand .. for me the most effective way to way to defend,step back, or doing shoulder roll. But if your professional enough doing cross elbow that will have your opponent will have a traumatic experience doing over hand. First will broke and make injury to the opponent hand .

    See that's the thing when you are judging you aren't going to stop and do that at the end of every round, you have to call it as you see it. Furthermore, Compubox can be used as a tool for estimation but not completely accurate. Bivol was hurt at times and would hardly respond and that was particularly evident in the second half of the fight. AI is AI but i'd watch it back with the commentary volume off hopefully they release the fight with the commentary off and you only hear/see the punches along with trainer advice. In my view Bivol never won that fight and it was a Beterbiev win by 116-112.

    • @regalrobertboxing

      I don’t believe Bivol was hurt. We never saw him stumble at all but we did see Beterbiev leg stumble visible stunned.
