For the enthusiast...I would 1000% go witht he HF edgeless. They are dual pile and no edge at all. Hold up in wash nicely. I'm 4 packs in and they are fantastic.
@@Skdjiejxuje they’re only on sale if you’re a ‘Inside Track Club’ member which I’m not but thank you, I’ll keep my eye on these since they’re edgeless I prefer them over the Costco ones.
Like you said the drying aids are clogging the drying towels and washing do not save them , maybe I ll use the Tesco ones for that purpose ,,,would they be ok for drying the car when using the drying aids ( I perso use Turtlewax ceramic wet wax ) thanks for your great videos Hello from Switzerland
Like you said. They make great general towels. It’s a great buy for that price! Gonna pick some up. Any product that you recommend using while washing the towels? thanks
Ive had harbor freight towels bleed dye while using panel prep on my white car, luckily no damage, but immediately relegated them to house towels. Costco towels have worked for me for years , honestly just can't beat the quality to value ratio they present. And just food for thought at under 50 cents a towel, i make better decisions about when a towel's best days are behind it , rather than trying to stretch out the life of the towel. This ultimately leads to less scratches or unintentional consequences from reusing towels that shouldn't be anywhere near properly maintained paint
They are tag less but they don't feel as soft as they use to be, maybe its just me but I am pretty sure they are not as plush anymore :( actually to the point I stopped buying them and went to Versatowel
Im glad the manufacturer listened. Tags were a terrible pain. At least its inexpensive enough if you ruin the towel you can throw it away. Good update.
Wait wait wait! So these have a higher GSM than the Microfibertowels that you offer from your own business? The ones that are 300GSM? You are making this incredibly confusing. Your products are much more expensive, so why buy from you when these Kirkland brands are far more superior? No disrespect, just trying to find the best product on the market!
These do have a higher gsm. Gsm and Blend are definitely key components to look at when buying towels. But consistency can be an issue with the costco towels as they have to source them so often and different batches come in with varying quality. The ones on my site are edgeless as well which I prefer. But, these will get the job done and at a great value
I picked a pack up last week and also noticed no more tags :). The harbor freight towels are excellent, and I think fluffier and softer after washing both.
At the same price I liked the HF better since they are edgeless, but now that they are 0.75 Harbor Freight vs 0.47 per towel for the kirklands, I'll take Costco all day unless HF has some discounts on them.
I think that you need to reweigh a virgin towel right out of the package. The towel was probably 25-50g less than you showed. Why do I say this? If you look at the video in super slow-mo with adeqate digital filtering, it becomes obvious that you were gushing and salivating so much that....🙂 Informative, as always.
Thanks Dude for sharing! Party On. I can hear the wife now " I'm going to Costco, you guys need anything, Yellow Towels"? Son and I use them for everything but paint. Careful though, he and I both have had them trying to transfer yellow using different cleaning schtuff. Granted it was full strength APC or Tar Remover and the like.
Appreciate the content learned a lot. I live in San Diego, do you do in person consultations? Of course I’ll pay for your time. I just have a lot of questions and want to start my own business.
The Harbor Freight towels are really good. Dual, tagless and edgeless which means they're super versatile. I got me a pack of 12 and even after first wash, it was holding up fine. Just a tiny bit of fraying which in my opinion can be easily ignored. I used after washing and it worked just fine. I use the Chemical Guys Microfiber wash detergent. It would be interesting to try Costco after this lot becomes unusable.
Whats up josh love your videos, any chance you can do a review of the suds lab ceramic wash, would like to see a meguiars ceramic wash and wax VS suds lab in the future
I know everyone hates chemical guys. But I use the ones from them with the silk edges. Just pull the tag out. Yeah they are pricy. But they are nice and are durable. I have washed a hand full of them many times now. Still good. Still soft. I really believe too there is a metal aspect to it. The nicer the towel, the more careful you are with the wash. Clean your car even better. The ones from harbor freight are great as well. I bought a bunch when they were 4.99.
@@imjoshv Yeah I noticed the issue after the first wash. I washed the entire pack in two different batches. I tried adjusting the washer / dryer settings for the second batch but it didn't make a difference. It's not terrible fraying but definitely more than id like. Still not ruling out user error on my part though

Kirkland should offer more colored MF towels with the same amount of 36 towels per packaged bundle and the same price as the yellow bundle.
