My name is Zach. I’m a Resident Physician in Boston. I make videos about medical school, studying, and growth. I love trying new things and often mess up. However, every time I screw up, I usually learn something. Whatever I learn, I post it either on RUclips or on my website 🌐 (zhighley.com/).

Duuude this happened so fast! I feel like you started yesterday, and I found your channel and subscribed. Time flies. I used so much of your advice on studying, especially the Feynman technique, Active Recall and Practice Questions. Let's not forget About Anki and Notion... consistent sleep schedule and no sugar. You helped me so much and I am near the end of my bachelor's in management and business (Thinking about starting another college after I finish it because I love learning). So, I just want to thank you for all of your advice that was always researched, study with me videos that I discovered during Covid, and I still use them almost every time I study. I guess I just want to say big thanks and congratulations on becoming a DOCTOR

I started watching your videos during Covid while I was in PA school, it's been so awesome to see the success of your RUclips channel over the past couple years, you absolutely deserve it. Your videos helped get me through some of the tough parts of school and now I'm coming up on 1 year of working as an emergency medicine PA, time flew. I had a question, Dr Highley. Is it necessary to have 16 years of education before applying for med school? Why the four years of undergrad first, why not directly apply to med school?
Do me a favor as a Dr. I had a Dr who told me I had a hairline fracture in my femur and showed me on my X-ray, but only put contusion on my chart. The VA didn’t believe me because of my chart. Please, please, please write good notes, don’t leave things out like that Dr did to me. And please don’t have bad handwriting. Love and blessings on your new adventure. I've watched some of your videos about how to study better, and laughed at your fake influencer/ youtuber morning routine video! I am so glad you are done with med school and feeling so excited about the future. I love that you've been to Bologna and Buenos Aires and got inspired by it.
