Great tips...May i add to take the M 4 Bus , which runs along Madison Ave, up through Harlem into Washington Heights and stops directly in front of the Cloisters Museum within Ft Tryon Park. Within Inwood Hill Park, a few blocks north, is the site where Peter Minuit "purchased" Manhatta from the Lenape-Algonquin Native American Indians and is adjacent to Columbia University's Football Field at 218th St off Broadway.

You didn't mention that it was also the sight of an extremely important battle in the American Revolution. It's the best spot to spend a beautiful Spring day in NYC!

Love the Cloisters and surrounding park. Be sure to bring picnic food, as the restaurant in the Cloisters is a bit pricey. I’d also recommend the Queens County Farm Museum.
My wife was at Sloan- Kettering Hospital for cancer treatment about two and a half years ago. As a teacher, I was able to bring our sons for the summer, and we stayed with friends in Forest Hills (another great neighborhood). Sadly, my wife lost her battle, but I have taken the boys back since. As a family, and even before the kids, we’ve visited New York at least 25 times during all seasons. It’s one of our favorite spots.

I absolutely love the Transit Museum. I went for the first time last year and I want to hit it again for their new displays. I wanted to go this year, but it didn't pan out. However, since I am a NYTM member, I am finally getting a tour of the original City Hall Station. Very excited. Believe it or not, this was my first year visiting Central Park. I had to go there twice just to get through the whole Park. Loved it. Fort Tryon Park looks like will be on my list of things to see next summer. 😉

Great vlog as always. Being a Manhattanite myself I love the new stuff you highlight that I didn't even know about in some cases. I'll just add one of my favorite new places as of the last few months is an amazing intimate craft cocktail bar called The Owls Tail on W 75th across from the Beacon Theater. Not only has outta this world cocktails & ambiance but they have a staff that is consistently putting forth 101% service & hospitality. If you guys find yourself in the UWS one evening I highly recommend checking it out.

Here Be Barr I have found your videos to be a great help in planning my trip to NYC, along with those of ActionKid and the TraveliingClatt. Visiting with my wife for 8 nights in December. As it is our first time in NYC we will be doing all the touristy bits such as the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Times Square and the observation decks of Empire State Building, Top of the Rock and World Trade Center. Got lots of other stuff planned and will be doing a few trips to Brooklyn.

You can thank me later if you haven't gone yet. Regards

You must not know much about Alphabet City nowadays because it's mostly gentrified now (except for Ave D for the most part) & a 2 bedroom averages $4000 - $5000 a month. I won't even get into the cost if you wanted to buy.

Amazing vid once again! Love your content as always! I think I’m gonna try one or two more of these things next time I’m in the city. Speaking of, the Williamsburg bridge is actually pretty easy to climb as well but ya know I guess I can’t recommend that for everyone who watches this lol -your boy @dnf.n from Instagram
