I have one. It's amazing- very powerful. I've been using it for4 months. I built a box w Ramp so it's chest high. I split mostly oak and cherry. It doesn't like weather below 5 degrees. I'm trying to find out about putting 10w hydraulic instead of what's in it now. I don't know if there is a drain plug or if I have to get a pump.
I figured something out on this Splitter. To Minimize chance of Piston damage, Decide your Maximum firewood length then Cut a piece of 4x4 or 6x6 lumber to take up all but 1"-2" inches of the Gap when fully retracted. Place it on the Piston side of the pieces being split. Results: (1)Minimized Travel - Keeping the Piston extension to a minimum. (2)Minimize Cycle time. *Note - pay attention to not over extend and damage the Lumber spacer.
i am owner of -bilt 6.5 ton elec. splitter for 2 yrs & just bought superhandy electric 14ton on prime day for $440 but original price was $900+. im curious since u r wen previous owner how is the noise compare to gas engine superhandy? sounds this gas engine is a lot louder? is it really a lot powerful compare to wen splitter? tyia
The electric ones are much more quiet which is great, and with no emissions you can split indoors which is great if it's raining and you want to split in the garage. Though the gas ones are loud, you can't beat the power of an engine running the pump. This superhandy powers through logs the Wen could never split
I honestly think they were about the same in power but the champion was wayyyy better built. I miss it. The superhandy was riddled with flaws and I sold it.
@@skywatcherranchswr Ok, so when this will die I'll replace it with Champion 7 tons then - I've got 3 years plan now for my new Superhandy, so I hope it'll make so far.
@naturewatcher7596 if you bought your superhandy new, I'd take full advantage of their warranty. From what I've read, they are really good about replacing breakage.

I would just remove the clear hose clamped to the bottom of the hydraulic oil reservoir to drain it if I remember correctly.

That is very smart! Makes sense
It looks like you got a nice little kindling splitter
You'll be surprised what it can split - definitely not just for kindling.
You got a steal of a deal. Looks like they are $1149.99 now 🤯🤯
I have a video coming soon about that, I think my purchase was a technical error!
Was on sale recently again on amazon - only $599.
Look forward to part 2
Part 2 link is in the description! Thanks for watching
Can it be shipped to Taiwan?

Did you notice a big difference in a power between Champion 7 ton and this splitter?

I would like to have one at that price 😊
The crack in floor how and why?
Excessive ground moisture, freezing and thawing ground, and poor concrete installation practices. 👍

Good narrative, When is part 2?
The link for part 2 is in the description or you can visit the channel! Thank you!
Fixing to look it up
I think I see a 62 Jacobsen Chief. I have one too
Allis Chalmers B 10.
lets see youin make viedo of you spliting wood
That thing looks like I could bend it with my bear arms.
No way that is 20 ton
I think if it exerted 40,000lbs of force it would split itself in half
You pay for what you get and get what you pay for.
Not necessarily!
