    Really liked the power efficiency coverage, haven't seen anyone else cover this aspect in so much depth.

    wow! loved the video. What mode did you use on armoury crate? manual mode or turbo?

      Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Well it has been quite a while since I made the video, and as much as I can recall, it was probably turbo mode. Do subscribe to our channel, your support keeps us going.

    Great video btw! but which one is better, i7-11800H or Ryzen 9 5900HS

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  2 года назад +1

      5900HS wins on the efficiency front, so you can use it in smaller form factors with less cooling. But the 11th Gen Intel comes with the ability to undervolt and even overclock, which makes it quite competitive with ryzen especially on bigger laptops with better cooling. Plus it offers a bit better single core performance, and has a slight advantage in gaming as well. So both options are good, it depends more on the availability. I did get an 11th gen intel recently, will think of doing a proper video once I get some time off.

      @@gamersanditparadise how about 11800H vs 5800H? Those should be more comparable I think :)

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  2 года назад

      @@tanjl6683 There isn't much difference between a 5800H and 5900HS. The 5900HS hits faster clock speeds than the 5800H in single core (4.6GHz vs 4.4 on the 5800H), but there is a slight advantage to the 5800H in multicore. If we go by the scores, the i7 11800H can do 13.5k in cinebench r23, whereas in the Ryzen family, only the 5900hx can cross 13.5k mark. So from a pure performance perspective, i7 11800h is actually comparable to a 5900hx instead. It will perform better than 5800H especially once undervolted.

    How's the battery life of flow x13? Is this the 1650 model in India? Please make a battery life test video on different power modes and disabling/enabling the 120hz refresh rate

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  2 года назад

      Expect around 7 hours of battery life, this is with the 4k 60Hz variant. So expect better results with the 120Hz variant. On battery, only silent and performance mode is available, and there wasn't much difference between the two, in terms of battery life.
      Also it is very easy to change refresh rate. Just go to display settings, and you'll easily find the option to choose whatever refresh rate you want.
      And yes, this is the 1650 variant.

    Good video, great coverage!
    If you can tell,
    1) what is the way to reverse the function keys. I hate holding function key every time. Tried MyASUS, bios setup, nothing is given
    2) How to get the AMD Radeon graphics color settings correct?

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  2 года назад +1

      Glad you liked the video. There is an app on the Microsoft Store called 'Asus Keyboard Hotkeys'. You can easily switch the function key behaviour using it. More on this here: www.asus.com/us/support/FAQ/1038312/
      Also, as far as colour settings are concerned, people have suggested switching over to different display profile in GameVisual (part of Armoury crate), or uninstalling GameVisual entirely. Either of these two is known to work for most users.
      Let me know if it works for you.

      @@gamersanditparadise This is bad from ASUS.
      So many elaborate posts and re-iterations to explain holding function button *and* hotkey TOGETHER is the way to make Hotkey work. Hotkeys should not depend on function key. Reverse Function keys is need of thousands of users.
      GameVisual needs external calibration device named X-Rite i1Display Pro.
      Both solutions do not help. Thanks for replying

      That's really bad then. I don't quite remember, but my old scar 3 had the option to swap between function and multimedia keys. If it doesnt work now, it is a bummer. I myself felt the same when I read that article - too long read with diminshing returns. Asus cares way more about marketing. They should spend some time improving their QC and user experience instead, if they want to keep loyal customers. I especially didn't like it, that page up and page down are also tied to fn keys now, which is very cumbersome indeed.

      @@gamersanditparadise YT deleted my comment with link.
      To summarize, you can do Pg Up/Down/End/Home using PowerToys.
      Trick is to use external keyboard, to map keys not existing on Laptop

    Hey man so I have the ryzen 9 5900hs too. Do you know which chipset or socket I'm suppose to choose to fix the windows 11 issue with amd cpu's? I read some where that I needed to update windows then the chipset through Amd's website.

    • @gamersanditparadise
      @gamersanditparadise  2 года назад +1

      Don't worry. AMD has dedicated an entire article on fixing performance issues in Windows 11 on their website. Here's the link:
      www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-400
      Follow the instructions, and let me know if you face any problem.
