- Wanting to do some test shots with two len's, I ended up shooting this short video:
Basic Camera shots for filmmaking shot on a NIKON D3200 using SIGMA 100mm-300mm and NIKON stock lens 18mm-55mm. Interpretation of shots may vary depending on the individual, but overall there are rules. Thanks to Lauren-Shannon Jones, Darragh Clancy and Gavin Johnston-Smith.

Excellent! Great shots. Video helped me to come to the conclusion that I want the 3200 as an entry level DSLR for filmmaking. I'm assuming some color correction was done in post-processing or are these as-shot?

Hey Martin, I'm trying to create that Mid shot effect exactly like you have it in this video. That joint is on point! However my bridge camera won't allow me to do it. So I'm gonna get a NIKON D3200. What lens will I need in-order to achieve the wide angle Blurry effect at Mid shot???? Do I need a SIGMA 100mm-300mm lens or a 50mm f1.8 lens? Please help :)
