- Hello everyone and welcome to my channel! My name is Randi. I live in California with my husband and our fur baby, Ace. I make videos for cleaning and organizing motivation. I post new videos every Friday.
I hope today’s video gives you plenty of cleaning motivation to get you going. So grab your favorite beverage and relax or clean along with me!
🥣 CHIA PUDDING
2 T chia seeds
1-2 T cacao powder
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (plain or chocolate works too)
1-2 scoops collagen powder (optional)
2-3 dates
1 C milk ( I use dairy free)
1 ripe avocado
🥣 BLACK BEAN & CORN SALSA
1 Can black beans
1 Can corn (equal amount of fresh or frozen)
1 Cup diced tomatoes
1 jalapeño (diced)
1 avocado (diced)
1/2 cup chopped cilantro or parsley
1/2 cup diced red onion (optional)
DRESSING
juice from 1-2 limes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
1-2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon cumin
salt & pepper

I was in the middle of watching this and remembered I needed to empty the dishwasher and straighten up before my husband gets home and we head out of town. I was motivated before the end. Not only did I put dishes away...I wiped the silverware drawer, vacuumed, wiped surfaces and wrote a quick note for my daughter who will be stopping in the take care of our animals. Wow. I feel so much better knowing I won't have to walk in to a dirty house. Oh! And I watered a few plants that were starting to droop. Thanks for the motivation.

I feel the same way! Back to teaching middle schoolers, and doing our dishes is first/last on my list. Already Sunday, and I turned on your show to get started. Plus the fridge! I also like the “egg bin” idea for storage. One lady put an H on the hard boiled ones-I love them with mustard, like my Mom did in the 1960’s & 70’s 😊
You're certainly blessed. We cannot afford all this food and many people can't. So we just buy daily what we need. x
First time posting but have watched for over a year. My heart broke when I heard your baby passed. We lost our 2 OES 6 months to the day a part last year. Our hearts broke and we're finally able to get 2 more on their anniversary. I owned a cleaning service for over 30 years and I have to say your channel is the best for cleaning, and I love to watch. My son has Celiacs so I get great ideas from your cooking. Thank you, Patti

I have had 2 blue merle Aussies myself and they are great dogs and companions. Your other red merle is very beautiful too and seems very sweet.

After watching this video yesterday morning I came home after work and organized my pantry and fridge. I love your videos and I also love that you do some of the recipes from Downshiftology. She is my go to for healthy eating. I'm making the chia pudding from your video today. I'm sorry to hear about your fur baby. They are our family and it's never easy to lose them.
My parents had a butler table like yours. They called theirs "Jeeves." When they passed away, my nephew asked for it as a keepsake. Good memories.
Discovered you this week, thank you so much for inspiring me. I came across your channel at exactly the right time and the past 5 days Ive been taking more and more of your tips and tricks to heart. Both our counter and kitchentable havent looked this clean and tidy in years! (Not since we had kids and I got a long term shoulderissue, which has finally cleared up enough to be able to clean properly again.) Every day the counter, dishwasher and table become easier to keep up with, which leaves a bit of room for extras: Ive cleaned a few cupboard doors today as I was making dinner. I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful dog Callie. We're travelling down the same road with our 15 year old Westie, Sadie. It's hard, but the love & devotion they give us is worth the heartache we experience.

It's always inspiring to see all your fresh, whole foods! I'm curious how you meal plan - how far out, how detailed, etc. Is this something you might describe in a future video?
I’ve been trying to think of a way to include my process in a video. I do very little planning. I think my grocery list is about all the planning i do. I keep meals pretty simple for the most part. Grilled chicken, fish or steak with a salad or steamed veggies. I mix things up with different seasonings and combinations. I have a few go-to recipes like stir fry, or tacos. Once in a while I will try a new recipe. But dinner is always very impromptu, whatever is easiest or what needs to be eaten. 😂
@@27foxplace thanks for responding. I kind of figured that was it based on what you've shown. I need to keep working on my "system" to minimize food waste and "what's for dinner?" stress. 😊
@Jodi9810 the biggest game changer for me was prepping the produce in advance. It makes sooo much easier to throw a meal together. And I try to keep a few meals in the freezer, like chili or stew, that I can defrost quickly on busy (tired) days.

Have you ever checked out the Zwilling food storage bags and containers? A little pricey but I really like the ease of use even though the bags have to be washed. You have given me freezer organization goals!

It must be very difficult to get uncontaminated food in the USA. I have heard in various reports that many additives for food, cosmetics etc. are still permitted in the USA, which have been banned in Europe for years. Here in Germany, people are buying more and more organic food, which we can now buy in all discount stores. There are also strict regulations for this. People here reject genetically modified foods, they are also banned in Europe. We very much hope that the EU will ban even more additives. I wish you and your husband a wonderful week with your furry friend. It is very hard to lose a furry friend. I have already had to let 3 cats cross the rainbow bridge, even after years they are still missed. Even though I have had a cat again for a few years now.

That’s so funny. Ace is doing surprisingly well. He follows me around now that Cali’s gone. he’s able to get out and walk more now, which seems to make him happy. Cali was slower and couldn’t walk as far. And he’s getting lots of extra attention. 😂 thank you 😊
