- One of the key product that defence minister launched today, BEML's Indigenous Medium Bullet Proof Vehicle (MBPV) - MK II 'GAUR'
The vehicle body is fully encapsulated to provide armor protection at all points
235 kW water-cooled/fuel-efficient BS Ill with 235 kW@ 2200rpm
This is an airborne self-protection jammer system developed for fighter aircrafts. This system has both ECM and ESM resources.

BEML GAUR Should be deployed in most areas in Kashmir to defend from ambushes n IED blasts in Kashmir. It should also be deployed in Maoist infested areas in Dantewada.
Similar kind of vehicle called vajra has already been used
With Stagnag level 2 it cannot with stand infront of IED. Be it Kashmir, Red Corridor or Indo-China border, now we need 'YUKTIRATH' (MPV MK-III). This vehicle can withstand infront near about 40 KG TNT blast that too under hull and tyre. It can also give protection from RPGs also with some modification.
But forces try to ignore it.
The state Police force should also be equipped with such systems, nowadays riots getting as brutal as Kashmir.
Examples like the recent *Bangalore riot* and *Mangalore riot* as well.

It should atleast have STANAG LEVEL IV protection.
