    Seriously I saw lot of videos... But it was the most simple and best one for beginners... Thanks a lot and please make a video from scrap to pro if possible.. like a series of lectures...

    I have no SnapyHexMesh file in my pitzDaily's system folder, why? .... I'm using OF v7 in ubuntu

    • @TheAurora1993

      You have to copy that file and also meshQualityDict.
      Those files are in $FOAM_ETC and then in templates/inflowOutflow/system/
      In this video he says it in 4:55

      @@TheAurora1993 thanks for reply, I have another question, I have a 2D model (from Blender) and want to set this mesh for OF, where I must declare one cell in the z-axis direction?. This tutorial and lots of them are for 3D mesh but I couldn't find for 2D mesh

    • @TheAurora1993
      @TheAurora1993 4 года назад

      @@jaa70 Okay, I'm just learning about OpenFoam, but I have learned that OF only works with 3D objects, and if you want to mesh a 2D object I think you have to declare surfaces as "empty" in blockMesh or something like this.
      I think the best thing you can do it's open the object in paraView and see the axis. You probably have X and Y, so yes, the Z-axis direction should have 1 cell thickness.
      ¡Buena suerte!

    4:27 Hey man. Thank you for the video. How did you add the axes in the background in Paraview?

    • @MajPirate
      @MajPirate 5 лет назад +1

      Nevermind, got it. "Axes grid" in properties.
