What would you rate this movie out of 10?

Probably a 6. I liked the story they had but I cant stop thinking about the original plot. It was gonna do time travel where they meet past garmadon and stop him from being bitten by the great devourer.
1, hated the designs, hated the fact that this new person with ginger hair is used instead of Misako, hated the teen look of Jay and absoloutly despised the fact that they essentially made them forget how to do spinjitzu, airjitzu, elemental dragons etc
8. If you seperate it from the show and think of it as it's own movie, it's actually a pretty cool movie. Not better than the show, but that's ok.
Anyone who hates on it for no reason is probably blinded by nostalgia and have no idea what the hell they are on about. People constantly compare this to the show.
Yes, the movie is bad compared to the show. But seperate the two and it's barely different from the Lego Movie, yet everyone loves that.
3 (in my opinion) I just didn’t like the story, the jokes were a bit weird but that could be a me thing as only half of them made me laugh, the movie is barely memorable, they didn’t really do spinjitzu at all, all their personalities are altered. It’s not the worst thing ever but I don’t like it honestly.
It was supposed to be the ninjago movie but it didn’t feel like ninjago.
I just don’t enjoy the movie, it’s ok though.
A lot of people don’t like the Ninjago film but I’m OK with it personally it would be cool if they made a second one but time is gone by

If you are wondering: yes all of the ninjas mechs were made into lego sets, however they aren't officially available anymore, but you should be able to find a reseller pretty easily.
Garmaddon in this movie may not be the most fleshed out character as he usually was in the show however he is hands down the funniest character in this movie
Am I the only one who kind of thinks Koko is a better morher than Misako was to Lloyd in the show, rhat could just be me, I dont know?

I think the movie’s good as a standalone movie but for a Ninjago movie it’s not good but I still like it tho I prefer the previous idea of the story of having the ninja go back in time to stop Garmadon from becoming corrupted by fighting the great devourer there was even a deleted scene of Lloyd talking to Garmadon from the past.
That wooden wu is a something you can buy but they made like 3 hand carved ones and they are super expensive

If you asked me to choose between the movie and the show, I’d pick the show in a heartbeat.
That being said, I’m not going to lie, the movie’s not all that bad. Sure, the humor can be a bit much at times, but I’m not going to shame it for just trying to do its own thing.

2:44 They didn't😂 He looks so much better with the new design. Yes, would be cool if they added his scar, so we can actually see it. But still the good exeed that little thing. And when he activates his Power ( that special punch ) his scar glow. Now it's like a real old scar: barely noticeable😉

Eww, worst movie ever. But the only redeeming aspects are the visuals and designs. Watch the show.
The original concept is way better than this one, but I did choke up alitte about garmadons back story.
It's a bummer they don't have spinjitzu which is literally one of the main concepts of Ninjago but the movie to me was surprisingly funny, maybe as a standalone franchise it could work since they are way too off from the show (maybe flesh out the characters more since Lloyd got the most focus). The redeeming qualities are the wholesome moments between Garmadon and Lloyd, the rest of the characters are just there in the sidelines for the most part.
