I absolutely love what they did with this phone, focus on getting the essentials right instead of adding endless cameras! I actually love that it uses plastic, much less fragile than glass backs! This feels like a refreshing phone in the current landscape, no money wasted on "gaming" SOCs (even though 90% don't game on their phone), no 2MP "depth sensors" to pad out the spec list, but instead an all display front, high quality cameras, essential features like the headphone jack and SD card slot,....
The only minor gripe that I have with this one is it doesn't come with the Android One platform. BUT, Android 10 out of the box? Wow, honestly I didn't expect that. That's mind blowing. Another thing I liked is the secondary sensor is an Ultra Wide angle shooter and not a puny depth sensor. I am really very impressed. That Android 10 impressed me alot. Great Video.👍🏻👍🏻

@@quchi7232 Good so far, but I was upgrading from a One Plus X (!) A day and a half with a few hours media use and not empty. The charger in the box isn't the 'super fast' one it is built to handle, but it still charges pretty quickly.
After a couple of months using the Hyper one. Everything is great so far. I bought the phone directly from Motorola, for $400, it come with the additional free phone G6. Now the disappointments, I've just learned that Wifi calling on the Hyper One (at least currently) that Tmobile doesn't support Wifi calling. So if you are frequently travel internationally make sure to check with Tmobile before you buy the phone. If you don't care about wifi calling, this is a very good mid-range phone.
I was disappointed I found out you can get a free G6 if you bought from their website :/ Ive been trying to find a new LG G6 to have for my collection it would've been a bargain. The G6 was one of my favorite LG phones.
Personally excited for Motorola and Nokia's return to the phone industry, but they are not easily available in my country. Still, this phone looks great. Can't wait for the in depth review!
It is kind of sad how younger people don't even know that Google bought Motorola and at that time made really decent phones. From the original droid to Moto x pure. And because of this I can't stand Samsung, LG, iPhones, Sony and others because of their user interface. Till this day I love the pixels and Motorola's. Planning on getting it this weekend. I still think it was a bad move for Google to sell Motorola to Lenovo but their intentions was to make a budget phone with decent specs for a good price to make people want to try it and I probably would have done the same if I was in their position
I got this phone yesterday at about 4pm and returned it at 7PM the same night. It didn't work for me. Weirdly enough I found that my note 8 with 12 MP camera took better pictures than the 64 mp camera on the hyper.
I feel you on that. As soon as I booted up the phone like wth? The display is pretty poor quality. Camera isn't the best, but I mostly got the phone for games, movies, social media, etc. A secondary phone basically. The battery and performance is good. I was pretty disappointed with the display tho. I've seen better Full HD panels for the price. If it were an oled display I can see it for maybe $400, but luckily I got it on sale for $300. I'm glad I didn't spend a full price on it. I'm probably just gonna end up selling it tbh.

@@kentbolhano3049 It depends, there are videos on YT that has done android memory tests. 4Gb is what you should have, kind of the standard now, but if you want to have more APPS active in the background 6Gb is what you need. The reason for that is that some apps eat up a lot of memory, so it mostly depends on how you use your phone and for what apps. They preinstalled Android 10 on a phone with LCD display instead of AMOLED... Given the new dark mode in the system, they should've done otherwise.
