Miku sensei taught in a different video that in Japanese we don't ask question with -たい？ Before going back to Italy, what do you want to do? イタリアに帰る前に何をしますか。Would this be better than ending the question with -たい？
Question can be asked with Thai/Hoshii. But you can't make a statement what others want/like using Thai/Hoshii. Hope this clears your doubt. You can re-watch that video.

Why is that missing in this sentence ?
denwa is the phone that belongs to your landline at home, and keitai is the mobile phone.
