So awesome how you really captured the beauty of these familiar spots in a way that allowed me to see them in a whole new way! I also love the subdued but suspenseful soundtrack selection (that’s a lot of a words…in a good way😅)
Once I tasted the forbidden fruit(Autel), I’ve been having such a hard time… however, I will most probably still get the Mavic 3 pro at some point when things settle down… fact of the matter is I love both companies I’m not gonna lie I definitely enjoy flying my DJI drones a bit more. But when it comes to go on a trip, even though I research before hand, I am automatically bringing my Autel Lite+. Mahalo brother for always bringing us amazing/brilliant footage and also sharing your wisdom with us. I appreciate all the tips that you share with us.🙏🏽🙏🏽💪🏽😀🤙🏽
Dji does create some good stuff. I enjoyed the Mavic 3 just didn't like the flares. The mavic 3 pro looks tempting but I just invested into a Fx3 so I gotta safe up again
Yes, mine is still going strong also. Never a worry, either. Beautiful video! Are you using default color settings or going through LOG or HDR and color correcting?
Really nice video - a lot of folks don't know that the V1 does 10 bit log and the V3 only has 8 bit.... - it's all good - I'm still rocking my E2P V1 and still loving the stills and footage I get from it. I like that Autel is more of a global company than DJI - most of Autel's color science is done outside of Munich Germany if I'm not mistaken - and I like Autel's color science better than DJI's. anyways.....awesome video brother.
Love, LOve, Love my E2P V1. So much so that I have 2 of them. I'll just buy one of the remote id modules for them. I have the Live Deck which quite a few ppl poo poo'd until well they wanted one..... LOL. Just ordered 3 brand new batteries for them too. Your video speaks for itself how good the camera in on the E2P. Love it!!
Hi Hotrod, I also love my two EVO ll V1 drones (8k & 6k) that I use mostly for mapping. The Explorer Missions capability is second to none. I also have a couple of Live Deck. I had the smart controller, but sold it in favor of the standard controller with Sky Fire Aerial enhancement and the Tripltek 8" tablet. It is interesting that the DJI Mavic 3 has a shorter production life than the EVO ll V1. While both the Mavic 3 and EVO ll drones are great drones, I may sell the Mavic 3, but I will never part with my EVO ll drones. I love seeing those orange birds in the sky.
I’m not complying with remote ID under any circumstances . I already hide when I fly, so good luck finding me. Whenever I am landing, I will use the drone to scan the area. If there’s anyone that I am concerned about near me, I will land the drone somewhere else and hike to it.
Awesome vid bro🤙 this brings more excitement for my next trip to Hawaii next month😬 been missing it every day! Definitely bringing the Avata too, just hope it doesn’t fail on me🫣😅
Cool footage. I like your style. My E2P v1 is wearing out from three years of heavy usage. Keep getting disconnected and have to reboot. Now yesterday, gimbal is going wonky. Maybe need to do calibration. Also battery shows fully charged when it is not and does emergency landing. Maybe need new batteries. But they go 25 minutes or so. Just put them on charger even if shows fully charged. I use my Nano Plus for safety when flying around people or dense urban area because it is just slightly off spec for Class 1 drone Flying Over People….
@@808-Stat3 As the batteries age there will be an increase in the internal resistance meaning when there is load applied during flight the voltage per cell will sag as it can no longer provide the current the motors want. When the voltage sag is too great it will trigger the critical battery voltage threshold if only temporarily. You can likely see this voltage sag in the battery details view when flying to compare how a cycle count effects the ability to deliver the juice. An old drone battery is still really good at being a power-bank though (unless it is puffy) if only there was a USB-C adapter for these things.
Hey Brother, We have chatted re drones and Hawaii. I lived on the Islands back in the 80’s. Ive been out of commission for the past 3 years. Very sick, almost died. Im wanting to get back into flying again. I currently have a Autel Evo 2 Pro V.1. I noticed from your RUclips posted you also have the v.1. Here is my question. After the last (3) years of not flying the Evo, what would be your best recommendation on updating or not updating? Its an older version. The drone has very little flight time on it. Not sure what to expect after turning everything on. I have a number of friends that have DJI‘s and they have not updated for a while. They said they’re not going to because of all the restrictions that came on to DJI prior to their last update. FYI, the batteries have all been charged everything’s ready to go. I just wanted to get your opinion whats the best way to proceed.
Aloha brother. Hope u are doing better. I definitely would update. The updates stabilized the bird and the exp settings and controls are smooth these days not as aggressive when she first was released. Also test hover the batteries to make sure they are holding the charge as well. The updates will have to be done for each battery as well.
The v3 is nice but lacks the depth in color. 10bit for color grading is a must and they haven't given it last I checked. Besides that the lack of support and possible discontinued battery production would make it better to go with a Mavic 3 pro instead, if geofencing isn't ur main reason to spend that amount of money
I have a Autel Evo 2 V1 6k only (4) flight. 3 batteries, mess load of filters never used, multi tower charger, bought from Drone Works. I know you said you wish you had 2 V1’s…If I decide to sell it, what would be ur recommendation?
@@808-Stat3 How much more support would it need though. It’s not like an operating system that needs security updates. I was actually hoping it would stay at its price or even go up because it doesn’t have Geo fencing or remote ID. Do you mean support as in repair as well? That would be ridiculous if they stopped repairing them. If that’s the case, it’s the last Autel I’ll buy. It will be the last consumer drone as well though. I will not comply with remote ID. I’ll have to look into the details of this and decide whether to sell it or not. If I sell it, I’m building a 7 inch long range quad.
@dangerous8333 ohhhhh 7 inch long range sounds super good. Autel announced end of production and end of technical support. Meaning they won't build anymore and discontinue the service as well.
@eagleeyeskycamdavidjones7660 prolly around $1400 . Problem is, long stored batteries, can be faulty. Don't have to but can be faulty. But u should be able to get around $1200 to $1500 for it.
Good morning , This David Jones we spoke/text a while back re my EVO 2 v.1 about selling it. Im ready to do so. It has maybe 10-15 hrs on it Its in new condition. It hasnt been updated in at least 6mo. Not quite sure how to send you photos of all i have in bundle. It is 6k
@@808-Stat3 Do you know anyone that would! It's never been registered either. I'm sure that's a selling factor? Im not sure how to reset eveything to be a factory reset.
Autel Evo II Pro is an excellent drone, too bad that everything that is not from DJI, does not receive due credit in the world of drones, it is like Apple vs Samsung (Android).
I hate apple hahahahaha . Always did android . Had an iPhone3 for like 2 weeks. Traded it in and got me an android instead lol . Agreed on the E2P . Taking mine out today to film my sons paddle race ;)
There wasn't much to say why I still love my 3 year old Evo2Pro V1, so I figured I'll just show you :D Hope you enjoyed the scenery :D Aloha

I'm still rocking mine too. From the Explorer app to the drone, it's been absolutely trouble free since day one.
Yeah it's been my workhorse and paid itself a few times now
Hi, the EVO ll V1 is a great drone that will live for many years, as long as batteries are available. I love my EVO ll V1 8k and 6k orange birds.
Yeah they seem to have done something right with that one
What a beautiful scenery, always looking forward for your next video, take care and God bless

Had a few lucky days in a row.
The video was great as always, I still have my Evo 2 V1 8K and want to get the 6K camera for it soon. Nothin but love for ya bruh 😎❤🤙🤙🤙👍🚁📽📸🎥

Very cool! I still love mine, and I think I will keep using it until the Evo 3 Pro comes out. :) (Hoping one comes out) haha
I’m also holding out for the E3P…but love the fact I’m not geofenced like some other drones are. 👊
