I saw Blood Incantation open for immolation and Morbid Angel and it was incredible. I definitely think tomb mold is one of the best in game rn but I'll take an honorable mention. Yeah man...Napalm Death 'Utopia Banished' seems to get overlooked in the classic 90s ND catalog...I love 'Fear Emptiness Despair' 1994 also (that was probably their darkest sounding album and it seems to get snubbed as well). The 90s albums of Napalm Death is my favorite era by them. Some friends of mine (twins actually) played 'Idiosyncratic' for me way back in the Fall 1995 (7th Grade). That was the first time I had ever heard them!! You just don't forget the first time you hear a band like Napalm Death!!

Really great albums you list here! For 2002, Resurrection Through Carnage is an awesome pick, but I would have added Nile's Annihilation of the Wicked. Such a fucking great album; but not their best IMO. That would be 2009's Those Whom The God's Detest. The latest Dying Fetus, Make Them Beg For Death is just brutality! Good stuff and a great genre.

i am late, but i think one of the best Cannibal corpse album is also "Skeletal Domain". This album has very dark ambience, atmosphere, because in this album musicians added more melodic in solo and dark influences in rhythm guitar. From this album my favorite songs is "skeletal domain", "sadistic embodiment", "the murderers pact", "kill or become" and "funeral cremation". Songs like "skeletal domain", "the murderers pact" and " funeral cremation" is more about dark ambience, om my god, i think, "skeletal domain" is one of the darkest death-metal songs i ever heard. Other songs like "kill or become", "sadistic embodiment" is more about... hmmm.. facepunch? Yeah, i think its more about facepunch :D. Dark Ambience of this album is like Cannibal corpse's instrumental song "from skin to liquid", But more about guitar techniques and speed and all this with deep vocals! This is my first death metal album, i very love it, this album is my favorite in Cannibal Corpse discography. My first death metal song is "sadistic embodiment", first solo in this song is amazing, its so crazy and "facepunching":D. Also in this album i very like guitar tone it makes album darker.

7:30 Angel Of Disease was actually originally on the Abominations Of Desolation album which was supposed to release in 1986 but wasnt until 1991. All the songs on that album except Demon Seed were rerecorded and changed for other albums.
Death's "Symbolic" is in my opinion the most important death metal album of all time. Death had some unreal drummers over the years, but Gene Hoglan raised the bar on Symbolic, and Chucks lyrics have become eerily relevant as time has gone on. Go back and listen to "1000 eyes" and tell me that it isn't perfect for today's internet culture.

Really great albums you list here! For 2002, Resurrection Through Carnage is an awesome pick, but I would have added Nile's Annihilation of the Wicked. Such a fucking great album; but not their best IMO. That would be 2009's Those Whom The God's Detest. The latest Dying Fetus, Make Them Beg For Death is just brutality! Good stuff and a great genre.
I would have included more Death albums, "Arise" by Sepultura, and the first to by Atheist. I'm happy that you included "Heartwork"!

Samsara is great too and even more aggressive, but they’re pretty equal for me. The production is really what gave Animus the edge

i am late, but i think one of the best Cannibal corpse album is also "Skeletal Domain". This album has very dark ambience, atmosphere, because in this album musicians added more melodic in solo and dark influences in rhythm guitar. From this album my favorite songs is "skeletal domain", "sadistic embodiment", "the murderers pact", "kill or become" and "funeral cremation". Songs like "skeletal domain", "the murderers pact" and " funeral cremation" is more about dark ambience, om my god, i think, "skeletal domain" is one of the darkest death-metal songs i ever heard. Other songs like "kill or become", "sadistic embodiment" is more about... hmmm.. facepunch? Yeah, i think its more about facepunch :D. Dark Ambience of this album is like Cannibal corpse's instrumental song "from skin to liquid", But more about guitar techniques and speed and all this with deep vocals! This is my first death metal album, i very love it, this album is my favorite in Cannibal Corpse discography. My first death metal song is "sadistic embodiment", first solo in this song is amazing, its so crazy and "facepunching":D. Also in this album i very like guitar tone it makes album darker.

7:30 Angel Of Disease was actually originally on the Abominations Of Desolation album which was supposed to release in 1986 but wasnt until 1991. All the songs on that album except Demon Seed were rerecorded and changed for other albums.
Carcass Heartwork is in my top 10 albums of all time.

Death's "Symbolic" is in my opinion the most important death metal album of all time. Death had some unreal drummers over the years, but Gene Hoglan raised the bar on Symbolic, and Chucks lyrics have become eerily relevant as time has gone on. Go back and listen to "1000 eyes" and tell me that it isn't perfect for today's internet culture.

I'm not a big Death Metal fan, but seek out some of the quality acts of the genera. Bloodbath is my favorite act. For a side project they sound pretty fucking great. Also, besides those you mention, At The Gates, Atheist, Enslaved and Opeth are favorites of mine.
