Dying your hair is tedious and very harsh on your hair and scalp. And of course quite expensive. These 3 supplements have made a big difference in reducing the amount of grays in my hair. And the grays I still have are a lot more subtle than they were before.

One thing about Copper and Zinc is that they battle each other. Best to get them both in balance. I take a combo Copper/Zinc supplement from SolaRay. I'm 59 and have very little grey, much less than I did before taking it. But I'm also hardcore on longevity regiment, I'm sure that helps too.
Are u in rejuvenation Olympics
@jackmwa902 Not officially because I'm not in competition with anyone but myself. But I may try seeing where I rank on the scoreboard after I turn 60 next Spring.

@szymonbaranowski8184 My last blood work results tested good. I just finished a plate of beef too. 😜

Actually, for copper the daily dosage should be between 1,5 and 2,5 mg (the 100-130 is for what you're looking for when you get a blood test)
I was gunna say, if I had that much copper I’ll be vomiting for days ahaha
What results did you experienced with nac ?
That is toxic level of copper - 2 mg is the max

I always cut my hair at Full Moons, keeps them strong and no loss of colouration at 57. And Yes, Moringa is a superfood that I take to maintain my General Health & Immunity, + I do like 3 weeks NAC evry few months. Zinc to maintain prostate and Immunity...
Carefull with Copper supplementation, the cofactor is Zinc. (i.e. Copper goes up, Zinc goes down)
I have found supplementing with Selenium limits gray hair. If I stop taking it, the gray starts to reappear.

What dosage do you recommand per day for 1. copper 2. NAC and 3. Moringa? Thank you!
Two heaped tablespoons of Moringa across the day in tea, sprinkle in food or in a smoothie.
I don't know about the others. In my 40s with no grey hair but one stubborn one.
I am not deficient in copper so I only take a tiny amount as part of a hair health supplement. If you find out you’re deficient then a dose of 2mg per day is good.

Thank you very much for your video. Subscribed. I plan to include a copper supplement in my diet, and later in a month or two, add the rest. I’ll write the results here.
What do you think, perhaps from your own experience or others, that just adding copper will help me reduce my gray hair? (I'm 39, about 50% gray). And if so, when can I expect the result? (I understand that everything is very individual, but maybe you have more experience)
My grays have become so much less noticeable. On the sides they are more stubborn. But NAC and Moringa have so many benefits. I would definitely give them a try. Good luck to you!

Thank you for these suggestions, I started taking Catalase supplement but it may be wise to take also a glutathion booster like NAC. I also heard some good things about Chaga mushroom (as a natural source of Melanin) and Fo-ti (but this herb seems to be toxic for the liver)
Chaga is problematic as well due to high oxalates. If one does have it, it needs to be mixed with high calcium food like cream or bone broth for the oxalates to bind to.
@@KatJaguar1122 thank you for this info, didn't know about that

@@nadavsczThis plant called a miracle plant for a reason. I rarely got sick. As I remembered after I consumed this, I only got sick twice when the covid hit and recover pretty fast. The amino acid in moringa is the key. People get sick because of the body cell are broken from virus , bacteria or other things and don't have enough nutrients and amino acid to the repair the cells. Moringa contains 92 types of nutrients and 15 amino acids where our body needs 20 types of amino acids to recover the cells. In term of hair, my hair also grow thicker, less hair fall and better skin. Off Course, I also have healthy lifestyle.
Quercetin too.
How low was your copper before starting the supplements and how much is it since you noticed that the grays disappeared? Thanks!
I was never deficient in copper so I only take a tiny amount along with zinc as part of a hair health supplement (which includes biotin etc...)
Im curious since glutathione can lighten skin wont it affect hair pigment too? Sometimes when my stress is reduced and take supplements i noticed some hair from root darkening again 😱 But stress grays me more often. I have more gray than older siblings
Yeah I have the same experience with stress affecting my hair. Glutathione will help prevent more grays.
I got the white stripe at age 21. My hair was totally white by the age of 30. Runs in my family to go white at a young age.
Did anything reverse it? Have you heard of Phyto anti gray spray? Or Vegamour's spray?
Curios, cause families have same diet, your body might have needed more of specific nutrients. If it's nutrition deficiency it's fixable. You would be put on "vitamin/mineral therapy" for a season. Naturopaths can test for what your body is deficient in, or it's struggle to process certain nutrients.
Yes, I thought that greying is a factor of genetics not stress or nutritional deficiency.
@@asulblueno... Unfortunately you're wrong... Greying boils down to both Genetics and environmental factors (in this case stress)... The gist is that stress causes directly some nutrients to get depleted.. Simultaneously it also causes more free radicals to be generated (which attack healthy melanin producing cells). So tackling them by supplementing with the depleted nutrients and anti oxidants to fight the free radicals(while also reducing the situations that is causing you psychological stress) can potentially reverse the greying...
But, I do agree with you that if it is genetic, then it is a little more complicated to tackle greying..

@@philippkarner_ well, there are a few things that i am trying out for my biohacking and as for my age of 34, I have not a single white hair on my head, i have also embraced the old passed down truths of our ancestors and trust me, the native plants we have in our vicinity are for a reason!
I wonder that my ex-students who are barely even 21 have gray hair but i don't! meanwhile, my twin is almost entirely white (and uses hair dye).
I'd suggest you try the herbal powders that some of the handful Indians (the real ones, haha, not Native Americans) do, skip the shampoos and opt for natural high saponin based alternatives, aid your liver with health and bitter greens, stay off of table sugar and if you are a grain consumer - cool them and then consume it.

For most people today, first stop/reduce insulin resistance by reducing food intake, mainly sugar/carbohydrates, and don't eat past 3-4 PM. Do HIIT exercises or go for a brisk walk before eating last meal [after could disrupt digestion]. Eat liver or brown crimini mushrooms for the copper and zinc. Other micro nutrient deficiency as well as low protein intake may be a concern. Addressing poor sleep and high stress is a Must, both of which change the body's chemistry/bio-pathways. This may also fix leaky/permeable gut which is a major cause of inflammation/allergies/food-sensitivities/autoimmune diseases. 🤜⚡💥⚡🤛

How does moringa powder taste? Will it fit into a smoothie like kale or create an unpleasant taste?
It is an unusual taste, but not horrendous. Experiment. If you don't like the taste, subdue it with a strong taste you like. Experiment.
I
I have Moringa powder. I use a regular table spoon to scoop the powder and mix into a 10oz glass, then add a little water at a time to mix it well. If you add the powder to water, it will float on top like cinnamon or like cocoa powder. It's not delicious, but it's not unpalatable either. It has an earthy, peppery taste.. like greens with pepper. Don't try to taste it, just drink it down, then brush your teeth to get the green off. You'll get used to the taste. Incidentally, the late Dr. Sebi is the first person I ever heard talk about Moringa, and all of the so-called "super foods" `20 years ago on RUclips. Now you can hardly find his videos. He gave lecture after lecture, video after video and now all of these doctors and "health experts" are repeating everything that Dr. Sebi told us years ago. On one hand, it's very frustrating to hear everyone parrot his information now, when they treated him like an uneducated vagrant back then, but on the other hand, it's amazing to see that everything that Dr. Sebi taught us was true and accurate all along.
I take capsules filled with powder so I don’t have to taste it at all.
I currently take Zinc I heard zinc and copper work against each other. What do you suggest? Thanks
Zinc reduces the amount of copper your body absorbs, and high doses of zinc can cause a copper deficiency. For that reason, many doctors recommend that you take 2 mg of copper along with a zinc supplement.
@@philippkarner_ I do thank you for your answer. So right now I take 50 mg of Zinc Picolinate (nutricost brand) per day. And as I understood from your message, if I take 2 mg of Copper in addition to my 50 mg of daily zinc, it should be okay, is that right?

Some people have good experiences with it. Turmeric / Curcuma is also great for boosting catalase.
So let me get this straight, we need to take all the three of them together right ?
Not necessarily. You could try one after the other. But Moringa is something that has so many benefits that I always take it. If you're not copper deficient, you wouldn't want to take copper. I cycle NAC. One month on, a couple months off.
Can teaspoon of blackstrap molasses reverse grey hair? What about amla?
Hey there. I don't know anything about amla. Blackstrap molasses are very mineral rich and super healthy. The high copper levels will definitely be good for your body as well as your hair. But of course there is no guarantee that it will reverse your gray hair.
Amla has nothing to do with reversing. I've used it for over a year. Good for overall health though.
What about a greying beard?
That one’s really tough. I haven’t heard of any remedies for that. I tried a serum once (made from citrus) but it did nothing.
