It depends on where you live. Get a license, start growing and start learning on how to extract the CBD. Many small companies started in their kitchens!
You don't need millions but yes it's not cheap. I've got 8 guys, 2 per post hole borer and we will be drilling 750 holes 4 weekends in a row and back filling with soil. Labour intensive - hell yeah, but hopefully cheaper so the 2nd year we'll be able to build some tunnel house's. These guys have huge amounts invested and alot to lose. There are also business 's that will work with you to help set you up. Cheaper again. I thought I could never afford it but when I split cost 3 ways with my partners it become do- able.
I make a CBD infused MCT oil and it works on dogs that have seizures and also it has saved 2 horses with anxiety issues like swinging their heads back and forth, from being destroyed. I'm in NZ and the laws are now changing. I'm going for a licence and hope to have a large part of my business based on animal husbandry. Well done
I am looking at this and thinking, "Why can't I just feed my horse big handful of hemp hay each day??" I am no expert, but my understanding is much of oral hemp/cbd products efficacy is destroyed by liver metabolism. IF this is true, the dosage could be dropped quite a bit if it was administered through mucus mebranes (rubbed on gums, under tongue, suppositories, etc).

What this actually is is a telltale sign that spider mites, which are very widespread in her area (and affect most growers, indoors or out) are eating through the undersides of the leaves
Actually in hemp this can be a sign of interveinal chlorosis which may have no impact on the crop. If it is an insect, it could be one of many with piercing-sucking mouthparts, and also may have no impact on the crop. I like where you went with this though! Crop geek! 🥰

Some companies will buy your bio-matter at around $30 lbs. Process it and take a share. Or make your product at a cost. It's all do-able.
