Love the videos bro. It took so many kicks because it was pre flooded from the grip change, those carbs has a mechanical accelerator pump so every time the throttle was twisted it shot fuel into the intake through the leak jet.
And ever more since everytime he kicked it he twisted the throttle

Messing with the throttle when outting on the grip probably flooded out the carb as to why it took a few kicks to clear it out
I came here to say, that is definitely the reason it wouldn’t one kick. It was just a little flooded from putting the grip on the throttle with the gas on. I was thinking damn Vee didn’t catch that?😂

Sometimes when starting them after sitting or after hauling them you have to tip them over till gas pours out the overflow tube bring it back up twist the throttle a few times then kick. Works like a charm.

Use hairspray when putting on grips. Dries fast and grips don’t move when it’s dry. Easy to get the grips off when they are toast

Not to correct the Vee magic lol but with 4 strokes they start a whole lot better if you top dead center the piston before kicking it.

And if anyone is wonder what TDC is, slowly press the kicker down until you feel the kicker get hard, bring the kicker all the way up, then kick it.

My husband and Sons love your channel man it only flooded itself out because it's a four-stroke and you was twisting the throttle when you put it on you never have to hit the throttle on a four-stroke with that V touch just remember that anytime cold start or hot

I will give you a tip, when you’re putting new grips on, soak them in hot water for 5 minutes and they become easy to slide on. When they cool they are firm and job done
I will give you a tip, when you replace the grips, buy the ones with the clamp/screw so you dont have to worry about any of that crap.
You can also put air with a compressor in it while pushing it on

@@keld1d im a proud owner of one ...I can go in my garage right now and it will start first kick no choke ....if the bikes don't get maintained properly and have a ton of hours on them valves get tight and carbs get outta wack i completely rebuilt my engine new oem crank, bearings,cylinder ,HC pro circuit piston it absolutely riiips my 200 lb ass around like nothin

You know it works good is taking a razor blade to the grips if you have a problem pull them off that way.. and use hair gel to put them back on just a little bit or even Hairspray you got to put it on quick though once hairspray sets it won't move but it's slippery for like 15 seconds.. I prefer to use hairspray it works better your shit won't move at all .. but it sets up quicker than Jill

The person that put them on before didn’t use the glue either that’s why they were so stretched on to the bar, and came off so easy. Give it a couple weeks those grips will be slipping on the bar and throttle tube.

Got an SSR150. Wish I would’ve bought something more quality made had a some issues but I’ve been having fun on it.
I like ssr they arnt bad. You can make them run pretty nice for the money

V I know the bike is fuel ejected however I know for a fact if I turned my throttle before starting it would not start right away Remember you turned the throttle several times when you were put in on the grips

that bike is carbureted, and if a bike is fuel injected you can twist the throttle all you want and it wont flood or anything when the bike is off, nothing happens unless the bike is on

You didnt help. First you wasted those grips by not gluing them with hair spray. Now they will twist and aren't safe. Second the handle bar was sticking through the throttle sleeve to making the grip causing it to stick.
