Blutarch and Redmond brothers are both alive prior to Saxton losing his job and Gray Mann ever showing up. None of the characters are who they were originally. Death is seem like a cruel aspect contrary to OUR Medic originally being absolutely calm under the threat of eternal damnation in front of a literal Devil. Half the cast either doesnt know each other or outright different people. Such as Spy not knowing Soldier *can* rocket jump, or them taunting Heavy for being a communist traitor when in reality Heavy is on the run from the Communists. Engineer having identical twins which I dont remember being mentioned anywhere in the comics etc. Emesis Blue, while I did not like the time travel plot, Is a very good SFM Movie on its own. As long as you dont expect characters to be their canon selves you'll have much fun with it.

The medic still survived tho, even after the car crash, because the one who kill scout mother and probably making scout traumatized for his entire life (after car crash, medic have 2 holes in his 2 eyes) and making scout hate medic (old timeline or the one who have not experienced the car crash)

I really like these characters more than the original mercenaries. I like when medic is not just crazy scientist and soldier is not just mad “veteran” with something like dementia. I like when soldier was literally a warrior on WW2 or whatever it was on his flashbacks. Emesis blue is the greatest horror movie I saw. It has no stupid characters, but it has amazing story and lore. Rest in peace Cyclop

This Animated movie alone started my journey of TF2, and i do not regret ever watching this, its a great movie, i enjoyed it without knowing what tf2 was.
I look at emesis blue for some good horror but I left with a broken heart😢 The part where Medic desperately tried to save Scout and in the end all he did was for nothing, and only at his death illusion did he see Scout calling him again, man that breaks me.
when you watch this SFM, you understand how much this simple game has gone through. But back then it was just a fun shootout, but now... I'm not saying it's terrible, it's just that you remember those times. Now this game deserves not only players, but also respect

Context: From what I gathered It explores the idea of the spawn machine mechanics and what it does to some of the subjects and how it led to only 9 mercs being in the gravel war. Jules sells it to both Red and Blu to continuously profit off the gravel wars as long as possible. Medic is affected by being some sort of sleeper cell murder machine I think and Soldier is seeing hallucinations. But that could be possibly explained by the reveal of the emesis diazepam label. Bar scene is a metaphor for being dead and possibly a popular spot for when people are passing through the “respawn process” as we see both demo and medic in a bar like area. The time loop stuff is more confusing to me I thought spy would turn into the fucked pyro since both are severely burned but alas no. Besides that not much else I have to contribute Just my view on it! TLDR: Jules supplying respawn machines to both sides to profit off war and fucked up a buncha mercs in the process and drugs are bad
I have this theory from a RUclips review of the movie where The respawn machine’s malfunctions cause time dilations to the surrounding area (hence soldier meeting his future and past self and Ludwig seeing his past self and Jeremy’s past self). What the respawn machine does is reverts time to “revive” a dead person (seen with Ludwig after being shot near the Respawn Briefcase) If I also remember correctly, the Emesis diazepam is used to counter the psychosis effects of the respawn machine but to not be suspicious, they branded it as normal diazepam. And throughout the movie, we see Ludwig’s descent to madness with The Undertaker always watching. What this could mean is that The Undertaker is a future version of Ludwig and adopted a different name because of the Respawn Machine (He died in that car crash in the end next to the respawn briefcase and respawned back at 2Fort’s Respawn Machine) and those who go through a traumatic injury take on new names (Red Sniper being The Hunter and Jacques being The Smoker). The Undertaker held Jeremy’s mom’s head the same way that Ludwig held The Hunter (Red Sniper)’s head which does suggest they’re one and the same person. That’s all I can remember from the review video and honestly, it makes the most sense to me

If I also remember correctly, the Emesis diazepam is used to counter the psychosis effects of the respawn machine but to not be suspicious, they branded it as normal diazepam.
And throughout the movie, we see Ludwig’s descent to madness with The Undertaker always watching. What this could mean is that The Undertaker is a future version of Ludwig and adopted a different name because of the Respawn Machine (He died in that car crash in the end next to the respawn briefcase and respawned back at 2Fort’s Respawn Machine) and those who go through a traumatic injury take on new names (Red Sniper being The Hunter and Jacques being The Smoker). The Undertaker held Jeremy’s mom’s head the same way that Ludwig held The Hunter (Red Sniper)’s head which does suggest they’re one and the same person.
That’s all I can remember from the review video and honestly, it makes the most sense to me
