Thank you for the tutorial. I can't wait to try it! I usually use a little bit of school glue (glue stick) on the back of the paper pieces to keep them in place on the laminating sheet before laminating, so there is no chance of them moving when loading into the laminator
Great tutorial, I found following along with your blog instructions really help make it easy to follow. Thanks for all the effort put into this. I appreciate it.
cause without the gap there the paper and the laminating film will tear easily. the gap there ensures that the laminated area is together as the heat caused the plastic to stick. if u cut straight without the gap, the film and paper will come off easily
Did you try closing the lid and making the room a little darker when you cut the laminated project? That helps with the glare from lamination and allows the Cricut to read the print then cut registration marks. It worked for me, I hope it helps you 😃

Can’t you just laminate and then cut it? .. why should you cut 2 times?

Wowwww you are so smart!!! Tysm
Nice video! Thanks for the tip. 👏👌 Only downside I have is the position of your camera as the focus goes wonky when your head comes into focus. 😜
great tutorial i am having a difficult time getting the separate cut around my image and the offset any tips?
can you tell me what thickness your laminate pouches are that you used?
Thank u so muchhhh
Can u tell me the naam of your editing app
My Cricut Explorer 2 used to cut my laminated sheets but now it doesn't. It keeps cutting the shape but not the actual item. Confusing!
I loved the tutorial but I'm struggling because my cricut refuses to scan the lines once I laminate 🙃

Try putting a clear piece of tape lightly on the sensor light. It works for me.
Same, and the suggestions below didn't work. Been trying for an hour now.
Why you cutting to times
