Instead of calling myself a minimalist, I now call myself an essentialist. I’ve been practising this lifestyle for quite a few years now and I cannot imagine my life any other way. You are inspiring to me! 🤗
OMG! Love it Essentialist! You inspired me to do a video about that, thanks 😊. Yes since we decided to living more simple our life has gotten better. Thanks so much for watching and commenting to my video, it means a lot to me 🩵
Your furniture free life is so inspiring. Especially as I get older. 63 now. I dont want to move furniture anymore. Im spending more time on the floor eating and reading. My cat loves it.
Hi Lore, thanks so much for watching my videos and taking the time to leave me a comment. Wow it is great that you are spending more time in the floor and that your cats love it as well. Living furniture free and minimalist has brought me so many benefits in my life that is what I want to share with others
Labels are helpful and not everything. I find that I appreciate experimenting with and strive for living with what I actually functionally use and need. It is a journey and takes some contemplation to realize what I need in my personal space. I grew up with hippy parents in Hawaii with minimal furniture in the tropics. Currently in my mid fifties, I had 25 years of cohabitating and now solo - am redefining what my home needs, what functions I actually require. I love traveling with only a backpack and savoring the simple life. I love how you use rooms as needed and redefine as needed. Admirable!!
Thanks so much for your comment. This means a lot to me. Wow that’s beautiful that you lived a simple life, I did too back in Costa Rica. By the way I love Hawaii is such a beautiful place and it reminds me of CR. Thanks so much one more time it is a process and I know you would redefine your life in your new transition.
❤love & blessings for all of us🏡☕💚🌳Thank you for your simple and relax explaining about simple minimalist furniture free lifestyle, i recognize my own process from the past 25 years till now, being in a reset/renew stage of simple & minimalist life❤
Thanks thanks 🙏🏽 for watching and supporting me with a comment this means a lot to me. Wow 25 years that’s amazing, living a simple lifestyle bring us so much into our lives. 😉
i've been looking into getting an autentic japanese futon, a shikibuton. I am getting one, I just have to save up for it first. I am ordering from Japan. Well anyway, it has inspired me to look into other ways to simplify my life. I will definitively start sitting more on the floor, while thinking about getting rid of my sofa and other things. I do like being a little extreme, in other peoples opinions anyway. So might as well lean into it. I am also going through my house and decluttering everything right now.
Oh that’s amazing! Yes 🙌 start by sitting down on the floor more so you can see how your body responds. This process has taken us years, so don’t stress out yourself on doing it fast. Thanks so much for your comment and support of watching my video. Hopefully I will read you again soon.
Well our apartment has a small built closet for the winter jackets. So, we hang there some clothes and then we build 4 small shelves in our room for the rest of the clothes
