I think I need advice for MY separation anxiety for my dogs lmao 🤣
LMFAO right where’s the human expert!!
After 8 long years of battling with insecurities, low self-esteem, with constant fear of the knowledge I could infect someone with HSV 1&2 was a nightmare to me. I'm so glad/grateful that I am over Herpes and its stigma! All thanks to Dr. Aloha ruclips.net/channel/UC_YFEEZEr1BxGkNg1d4vqww ❤️🙏🏻
Just take a load of Xanax and drool at your desk til it's clockout time 🤣
Omg same lololololol
Samesies
Going to to grocery store for 15-20 minutes. On what planet is this possible?
In Europe :)
Don't you have a groceries store like 50 m away?
I really need to help my pitbull with his separation anxiety. My mom leaves him in the other room he will start crying like he's going to perish right there. It makes me sad and he needs to know it's ok if he's not always accessible to her.
I’d simply quit my job after seeing that face 🥺
its so hard not to give my dog a big greeting because i am also super happy to see him and i love how happy he gets
Same!
Ignoring a dog is hard for me, too. I notice how much harm we're doing when we engage the dog first before greeting the owner and of course: The dog probably thinks its their job to alert everyone and engage first and their privilege to be greeted first. And the louder and wilder they are, the more aggressively they jump at humans, the more attention and affection they receive.
I love petting dogs to infinity but I've started treating them as low ranked pack members in situations like these. Friend of mine has a beautiful Belgian Shepherd, all black, and it's such an effort to walk past her and ignore her until I've greeted the alpha. But it works when I envision what behaviour I'd want to see.
Lord....I dogsit and let me tell you, pandemic dogs (and owners) are NUTS.
I, personally, would advise against associating treats with departure., especially in dogs already prone to separation anxiety.
They might associate the treat with being left alone and it will not be a reward any more.
The only thing that works is practice, practice, practice. Leave, come back. Leave again. Don't congratulate the dog for being alone. Your departure and arrivals need to become a natural occurrence and not a "special moment". Don't involve treats in this equation.
Yup. I tried just about everything on this list for months - unfortunately real separation anxiety isn't that simple. What you described is exactly what happened to my dog. She began to realize that the Kong = me leaving. She stopped eating altogether when I left.
The only thing that helped was desensitization training and medication. And time. It takes a decent amount of time. She is doing a lot better but not 100%...
Some people don't realize that our dog's mental health is a bit like ours. Sometimes we need meds and therapy (training) to help. Sometimes they do too.
I really wish that I read more comments like this when I was starting - I wasted ages trying these "tips" that aren't actually that helpful for most dogs 😭 I'm surprised she didn't mention medication at least for severe cases or at least desensitization training.
The real miracle is that she said "walk time" and her dog didn't start going nuts with excitement.
My dog doesn't go crazy when I say that. He just tilts his head and listen attentively. But he doesn't run to the door and go bananas haha.. When I say "godis" (candy in swedish) then he starts to expect something 😂
The stereotype of cats being antisocial is the opposite of reality. They are extremely social animals and they need company!
15-20 minutes?! Did she assume we are all mutants and simply teleports to the grocery store, steals some stuff and then teleports back?
I just want to say whoever you are that you are a beautiful human being ♥.
Did you know that watching cats videos cause significant reduction in cortisol (a major stress hormone) ?? :)
I'd REALLY like to know what the best pheromone for cats might be. I've tried several and man are they spendy!
Wow!
The thumbnail is a boxer and i'm watching this because of my needy "pandemic baby" boxer ... funny
Good tips & Jack is so cute
What....?!! Nothing about wolverines? 🤔
Who can do an entire trip to the grocery store in 15 minutes? Lol
ALHAMDULILLAH(SWT), ASTAGHFIRULLAH(SWT)
Do not sign up for banfield pet insurance
Would I be able to mix both cat and dog pheromones together for them both have a calming environment? Or would one interfere with the other, and completely cancel each other out?
Yes, each is species specific, thus the can be used together and have no effect on each other (won’t cancel each other out).
@@michelleborchardt199 Thank you! 🐾
Thanks imma send this to my sis
Very Nice Bro! Get Good People!

Why are the comments all copies?
Bots
RUclips doesn't really want to deal with spambot posts. Probably because they drive up numbers and thus create ad revenue at the expense of advertisers.
Recording them without their consent is breach of their privacy lol
Dr. MDMA
thanos i miss you man
Cats are more likely to get Separation
Jesus they are Tsudere of the pets world
That’s one hot veterinarian🥵
Oh yea ahh oh yeah yeah yeah
You care about dogs and cats more than we care about humans in my country
not true bud. Depend on personality. We aren't that insane, but yes I agreed a little bit
@@kunatip7 the problem is not you the problem is us it's fine if you care about animals health but it's not fine if you don't care about humans health
Lies
bro, having a dog that's happy when you leave defeats the whole point of having a dog to begin with.
I have zero confidence in any squeaky voiced McVeterinarian has to say.
Shut up
Just another reason not to have a dog. Pets are for the weak. =)
To each their own :) personally love my pet reptiles.
That's a strange way to look at it.
A parent can't just disappear!
You have to say good bye so your kids know everything is fine and you will be back.
