The watcher in the darkness sub quest isn't showing up for me despite me finishing all the main quests in the area? Is there some sort of a problem with this quest in particular?

Sekigahara is the worst level to find all Kodama, seriously.
I missed so many, because of that fog.

You have to do "The silent crow" subquest (Level 92) to get "The watcher in the darkness". Just if anybody else have problems with that in the future
You can still collect Kodama on twilight missions.
why do you have 11 potions(elixirs, i dont know how it is in eng)?
It's very late but you can spend Ninja Skill points on it to increase the maximum elixir you carry.

Where did you find the chest armor?
His helmet is a craftable item I got it from the very first boss. The armor I just saw on a general during the 2nd area here Sekigahara.

Which mimics? Killing a wall is actually pretty useful/cool because you open its Yokai Illustrations that way.
You can use the sorry gesture in front of a mimic and he'll disappear without a fight.
just pray the Nurikabe, it will let you pass, no need to fight with it.

@Mohammed I’ve tried it and since I started gesturing I haven’t got it wrong enough to have to fight it
@Mohammed and if you’re underlevelled like a normal person then these things can kill you
