Bicycle Races at DUQUESNE GARDENS - Pittsburgh - 1930's

A rare view inside Duquesne Gardens on Craig Street in 1938 as America's workshop took a break from the mills, factories and plants to take in some recreation. The Bicycle races were a regular event in the Gardens until the war. This short view was found on a tiny strip of old decaying film. It was rejuvenated, dried, scanned and enhanced with A.I. to give you this glimpse into Pittsburgh's past
