Why MSP for wheat and rice only? Y not on apples (Uttarakhand and Himachal), Coconut(South Indian States), Grapes and oranges ( Maharashtra), Red chillies ( Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh). Farmers from every state should get the benefit of MSP.

Why should the concept of assured market at a guarnteed price stop just at agri produce? Why shouldn't it also apply to a factory product, a skilled/unskilled worker, which means full employment. The demands simply are not practical and defy fundamental principles of ecomics.

if government provide MSP then Minimum wage for agriculture labourers should be fixed Rs. 50000/- per month so they may purchase food on Market rate and stop free distribution of food grains among them. Further farmers who has income more then 10 lack should brought under Direct Tax so that number of taxpayers should be increased which may help government to provide them pension facilities as demanded by farmers. it's my personal opinion.
Why 10 lakhs just apply standard rate of it
If income is more than 5 lakhs from fields and agriculture, it should be taxed at standard rate of taxation, no loan waiver , no subsidy , no pension

Punjab produces most of the wheat and rice, punjab works as farmers state so most of the msp beneficiaries will come in punjab also, their demand is genuine and when a law come on msp it will not benefit only punjab but whole country will be beneffited

Rather govt should announce minimum income guarantee to all citizens.. Say 50k per annum.. If a person earning less than that would get differential amount.. Persons earning more than 50k won't get any amount.. If person reject three employment offer, he shall not be eligible

Minimum Support Price(MSP) ensures minimum price for crops. It only applies to corporates (or govt.) who buy crops direct from farmers.
In whatever price the corporates buy from farmers they can sell at whatever price they want to.
