I watch some of your videos even though I am only a sophomore JV quarterback because football is my life. I love your videos and I wanted to know if I could get some advice on how to approach giving advice to my coach on what he can do to make the team better for next year without coming off as a know it all. There are just some things the coaches dont pick up on because they are busy with a million other things. I am a fan of yours and was just wondering what is the proper way to approach my coach on what he can do to make the team better for next season.
P.S sorry to hear about your uncle

Wow! What a great question! First... thanks for watching my vids. It's cool to hear about guys out there who have watched for a while.
Second, as far as your coach goes... you can't really give him advice. It's not your place. I say that with sincerity.
If you do have a heart for the game and love the knowledge then I would encourage you to ask him some more questions. One generic example would be: "Hey Coach, I was watching a video about this coach who was explaining why he believed in his 3-3 defense. It made me wonder, why do you believe in our offense/defense?" This may help you understand his thinking. And if the relationship builds you may be able to share some videos you have watched with him.
Outside of that all you can do is encourage him. Let him know you believe in him.

In the uk we’re just about to start our uni season (November). I’d love to hear more about your wing T offence. The 3-3 cover 3 has loads on it from you but more on what you run and why/when you call what you do would be great.

OK Coach. I can do that!

I struggle with what to call when. Sometimes we are just not as good, but sometimes, in close games I feel like I don't look at or read the reactions of the right people on the sidelines and would be fantastic to get an insight as to what you look for and when/why you call a play over another.

Good thought Simon. That's one of the hardest things about being an OC. It takes time to improve... and time within your own system. I'll shoot some videos to give you a little insight to what I'm looking at.

Hey Coach I am at a program right now and we are trying to rebuild what used to be a very good program. We are kind of in a stuck on what style of offense to run. Keep in mind we have a young O-line and a young but very talented backfield. We play in a very talented region that sends numerous players to SEC, BIG 10 and other power 5 caliber schools every year. We need an offense that is gonna even the playing fields of talent. It's a toss up between the Pistol flexbone Option or some form of the Wing-T. Any suggestions?

Oh man that's a tough question, Coach! You ask this same question to 5 coaches and you will get 5 different answers. Here's my take.
There are several offenses that are highly effective. I don't think that any one is necessarily better for kids that are less talented.
They do say that the option is best for teams that are smaller than their opponents up front.
I've opted for the wing-t personally because I believe that it is an offense that we can execute at a high level with minimal mistakes. It's also systematic in it's approach which means that once you learn it well you can find the answer to how to move the ball against any defensive look. It also has the flexibility to easily allow for us to feature different players/positions given the change in talent every year. So if our wing is our best player one year we can feature him vs. the full back the next year.
But if you know the air raid, go with that. Whatever you do, choose an attack and stick with it. Regardless of whether or not you win your first 3 games.
