    Max make all his time in corner exits. He's a bit slower in entry but recovers and gains an advantage on exit. Always has been his style.

    • @MousesMortar
      @MousesMortar 2 месяца назад +21

      Actually, it depends on the track configuration, if u have a long straight after chicane you must go slower in 1st corner to gain more exit speed on 2nd, but I can't imagine how difficult it is in F1 considering the how quickly and often speed and downforce is changing though the lap. Max is on another level

    • @seano51
      @seano51 2 месяца назад

      Yeah I noticed that last weekend as well, it's the corner exits where he's picking up the time. Not sure why though.

    • @sailingintosunshine
      @sailingintosunshine 2 месяца назад +27

      @@seano51 compared to Perez, Max prefers to drive (or set up his car) a little bit more oversteery, carrying less speed through the apex of the corner, but achieving more rotation enabling him to accelerate sooner. Obviously they both adjust their styles to the cars and track corners, but Max tends to focus a bit more on rotation and early acceleration while Perez tends to focus a bit more (compared to Max that is) on carrying more speed through the corner. That means that you might see Perez catch up a little within the corner, but you may also see Verstappen getting on the throttle and up to speed a bit faster.

    • @Saiko-Johnny
      @Saiko-Johnny 2 месяца назад +21

    what makes the difference? Timing, braking control, attacking the corners, throttle control. Max masters it all, that makes the difference. He can drive a very pointy, nervous car like no other, or atleast a handfull of drivers. He is slower on entries when needed to get the most momentum and speed out of that corner, or series of corners, it all depends on the type of corner/corners. His trademark is not slower on entries, but make the corners as short as possible. for that purpose, often he needs to brake earlier then the others, only to carry more speed through the corner and make it shorter. He uses brake power and throttle power very gently to keep pressure (weight) on the front wheels and at the same time make sure he does not loose his "rear". That is what sets him apart.

      Max did an amazing lap but tbh he would get pole with a decent lap aswell,rb was just faster but max was still great

    Verstappens tow down the straight. Two weeks in a row has been the difference to get Pole.

      Max makes up all the time with his corner exits, Checo gained nothing on the straights

      @marekbuhla6729 2 месяца назад +8

      No you can see that Max brake earlier and not so much thus sacrifice corner entry at slow and medium speed corners to have better exit and others do opposite. Also it means that he preserve much more front tyres so he can push more in high speed corners then bcs better tyres.

    So RB by far the faster car, LeClerc drove well, Alonso massive outdrives his car and Sergio is not at this level.
