Max make all his time in corner exits. He's a bit slower in entry but recovers and gains an advantage on exit. Always has been his style.
Actually, it depends on the track configuration, if u have a long straight after chicane you must go slower in 1st corner to gain more exit speed on 2nd, but I can't imagine how difficult it is in F1 considering the how quickly and often speed and downforce is changing though the lap. Max is on another level
Yeah I noticed that last weekend as well, it's the corner exits where he's picking up the time. Not sure why though.
@@seano51 compared to Perez, Max prefers to drive (or set up his car) a little bit more oversteery, carrying less speed through the apex of the corner, but achieving more rotation enabling him to accelerate sooner. Obviously they both adjust their styles to the cars and track corners, but Max tends to focus a bit more on rotation and early acceleration while Perez tends to focus a bit more (compared to Max that is) on carrying more speed through the corner. That means that you might see Perez catch up a little within the corner, but you may also see Verstappen getting on the throttle and up to speed a bit faster.
@@sailingintosunshineThat's a correct analysis. You should translate this in Spanish, so the Mexican fans can learn what set-up means. Maybe then they'll quit crying that Checo has a different car.
I actually always see people say Max throws his car into corners whilst other drivers tend to focus on corner exits.
Wow, Fernando only lost it in the last corner. Great job by Max as usual.
Cos he OVERUSED his tyres in the other 2 sectors… thats why he loses time in sector 3. Max used his tyres better throughout the lap.
Max has the faster car mate by a while @@Redlingstein
@@lukebennett. Both can be true at the same time. It did look like Alonso cooked his tyres too soon.
@@lukebennett.Look at the last corner, mate. That's where Alonso lost most of his time. Nothing to do with outright speed of the car.
@@Niranjan_Mavath
Like in Monaco 2023.
Alonso NEEDS a faster car
I hope, i wish , i pray he gets another WC before retirement 🍀
In this reality a win would be incredible, and you're talking about WC :D
Only way for anyone to get a win now is to:
1. Max's car brakes down in a race
2. RB implodes because of the drama
3. Max gets sick and doesn't race
As a Max fan is hope it will happen soon.
@@wesjuh2872 I'm a Max fan as well
But it's clear that Alonso deserves a chance to fight for WC
@@Cosmic_P0wermost of the drivers do, what are you on about 😂 you just cant have 8 potential championship winning cars
The aston has the highest top speed in all the f1 cars, as you csn see pn the straights
That last sector by Max was insane
charles gained 4 tenths to him on his last corner so no. more like s1
@@simonfan1997definitely not 4 tenths but he gained some time
F1 really needs to use graphics like this in their broadcasts and post qualifying/race analysis. It makes it so much easier to understand the difference between drivers and cars and driving style. Great work!
can u do verstappen vs verstappen unfinished 21?
This has my vote.

my blind guess is that 2021 would win due the change in regulations
Can you also do a comparison of Max’s pole v Lewis 2021 pole in Jeddah
He already did.
@@harveygault4167no, I mean yesterday’s pole lap vs 21 pole lap at the same race track (Jeddah)
It’d be very close, about 4 hundredths
I dont know how you make these but they look sick and I love how good you can understand where each driver does something different, nice vid
Nice ! But really Max & then a 3-way race behind him !
The difference between Max & Checo really shows the RB20's true pace & the extent to which a driver makes a difference - same with Alonso & Stroll.
Yeah the ex-racing point drivers are pay drivers....including checo....but appreciate him for saving the team....
Incredible visualization of the intense competition behind Verstappen. Thank you for your time and efforts, and for sharing this with us all.
Max and Leclerc had great laps. Leclerc won P2 in the last corner
He was just brilliant, as you could tell, the Aston and Red Bulls both had better performance in the high speed corners but Leclerc was just that little bit more on edge.
Nice video as always, can anyone please tell which software is used to make this video!
Keep up the Great work!
Yes, videos are really great, I am also quiet curious to know!

@@fazorni If it is then I'll try recreating it. I'm basically a pro because I've followed the doughnut tutorial!
Perez really only got a good lap with that straight line speed... he was slower than the res ton all the corners except the last
I beg to differ. He was the slowest on the the straights
@@Yahniboy no he was the fastest
Even in that last corner, Alonso fell back.....not Checo's speed...
Fernandos weekness is the last corner, noticed that throughout the weekend. I hope he notices that too
It's the weakness of the car around that corner, stroll also really messed his time up there
He uses his tyres too much in sector 1 and 2… he simply has no tyres left
@@Redlingstein not true tyre deg is lower in jeddah some people actually improved on used tyres throughout qualifying
@@nice900 Bro its about the Temperatur not the Degredation, the tyres simply get too hot in the end, degradation is over longruns
@@mfg-music5875 it clearly is about deg if not teams would just use 1 set of softs throughout all of qualifying
@formula addict: Could you do Hamilton Pole 2021 Jeddah versus Max Pole 2024 Jeddah? I think it was the first time the new car actually beat the 2021 car. It will happen more often this season I think.
We want Hamilton vs Ollie Bearman Q2 lap comparison 🔥🔥
Leclerc on that last corner was incredible.
0:48 what is that burst of speed?
magic
seems to be better traction, he is the only one that is not going too wide or too short, having to adjust the car line, his line is perfect from the get go so he is pushing to the Max
Max's driving style and the way he positions his car and takes the corner is his advantage.
Leclerc 😈👑
GOTE
Alonso is amazing wht he does in that car
Hey mate how do you make these vids? How do you figure out the location of the cars during the lap? Does F1 TV show it or is it some clever guesswork?
Buy f1 tv pro subscription and also watch the camera angles of each driver....
Please compare sf23,sf 24,rb19 and rb 20 for bahrain and this track
great to see alonso in the mix
The music and vibe reminds me of the old CS surf videos.
The piece between the seat and the wheel😂
Can we appreciate Alonso in turn 13? That was FAST!
what makes the difference? Timing, braking control, attacking the corners, throttle control. Max masters it all, that makes the difference. He can drive a very pointy, nervous car like no other, or atleast a handfull of drivers. He is slower on entries when needed to get the most momentum and speed out of that corner, or series of corners, it all depends on the type of corner/corners. His trademark is not slower on entries, but make the corners as short as possible. for that purpose, often he needs to brake earlier then the others, only to carry more speed through the corner and make it shorter. He uses brake power and throttle power very gently to keep pressure (weight) on the front wheels and at the same time make sure he does not loose his "rear". That is what sets him apart.
Great graphics its so close between these teams
Sin ese coche no podria hacerlo
That sector 1!
Max acting like he has unlimited grip
Max is from another galaxy
Is this accurate? Where is the data for this pulled from?
Fernando ❤
hes just that guy
the difference is max removed the breaks from his car, he only uses the throttle. Can't be slower if you don't break.
Easy pole? No, not in my opinion. This was close, again. Nice driving from everyone. Jmo
you have to really be pushing to call 3 tenths 'close'
@@MarioJBGugisch Well, it isn't easy pole, it is Max being Max and making the difference.
Looks like Ferrari lost it first breaking zone edge which it had with f175 and sf23.
Leclerc used to have advantage in every race on first corner of qualifying like verstapen is having now.
Then need to get that back.
He used to be might with breaking as well as exit.
He got that traction down in Turn 2 and the rest is history
Max has something more in his car
Max verstappen's pole lap was faster than the 2021 pole lap so the 2024 cars are catching up to the 2021 cars
Uhm, no, it's the track that has changed a bit.
@@gauravmalltarlok5354The track is slower now.
@@gauravmalltarlok5354its not effect.
New cars have less drag, more top speed. On a track like Jeddah where its straights and high-speed corners, a less draggy car will be faster.
If max wasnt around we would have some seriously epic quali battles
3 way battle for second actually
"iTs JUsT tHe CAr!!!"
Its the first sector for me.
My key takeaway is that the Ferrari straight line speed is weak compared to aston and rb
Compare max 2021 and 2024 lap time
It's not just the car
If this is accurate... the speed of that redbull is insane
can you do piastri casing hamilton 😂🤣
I think he's braking before everyone else and then gains even more time coming out of the turn.
Engine powaaa
The Ferrari looks a bit draggy to be honest. LEC lost a good chunk at the end of long straights. Traction looked strong though.
Engineers and drivers have said that Max drives a 'pointy' car better than the rest. A pointy car is very difficult to handle but it is always the faster car.
looks like he has the better car, pull as a gap even to his teammate while accelerating...F1 is bullshit these years
Can I please see 2021 vs 2024. new regs vs old regulations
What it feels like trying to catch up Red Bull in F1 2023 with ERS Assist enabled.
Alonso is so good
A faster car certainly helps
Easiest answer ever: The car
Imagine Alonso 5 years younger. He wipes the floor with these lot 😂
Loses in the technical sections, gains ages in straight lines. Wow.
Charles is SO DAMN PERFECT. His car is lacking in high speed and straight line compared to the Aston in but he's so bang on, yet people always harping on about Alonso.....
No proof that the Aston is faster than the Ferrari over one lap.
Pérez either running more rear wing or his engine is down on power compared to Verstappen. Pretty slow on the straights
The car.
Newey.
Max is just insanely talented. He's performing on another level
Consider Aston Martin condition, Alonso was fastest among those 4.
LECLERC A UNA VUELTA DESPUES DESAPARECE 😅😅
that straight line speed killed the rest
Nah, that's just Max being better on corner exits. The faster you exit a corner the more you gain on the following straight. Look at Sergio s Red Bull, no advantage on straights.
No you can see that Max brake earlier and not so much thus sacrifice corner entry at slow and medium speed corners to have better exit and others do opposite. Also it means that he preserve much more front tyres so he can push more in high speed corners then bcs better tyres.
So why Perez didnt finish second ahead of leclerc and Aonso and by also .03s if it is the straight line speed of the RB20 Max advantage is his corner exits better than the others 😮
No, it’s the speed Max takes with him OUT of the corner onto the straights. Corner exit speed. Thats how he drives corners, his strength.
its the corner exits that made all the difference
why dont u put the soud of the engine instead of this music
Red bull engine is superiority among mercedes and ferarri no dooubt
Qualifying is pretty much meaningless these days in the terms of the race win. The RB is so dominant in the race
I'd pay to see Leclerc on a redbull
He will make Verstappen look like a slouch, seriously. Domination as you never have seen before
100% pole and win ratio over a season.
Leclerc would never lose to Perez like Max did in those 2 races in 2023, even if Charles had to start 16th in Jeddah.
Lol Max dominated Charles during karting and now in f1
What a bogus. Charles already beat Max in 2019 if it wasn't for his bad luck, with a slower car as well and beat a 4 time champion. Max has REDBULL, the best team for a good while now..... easy to dominate then you no-count.
Also , who TF gives a crap about karting??? Vettel dominated Hamilton in F1 as well despite Hamilton being quicker in GP2..... so sod off with your BS, Max fanboy. He's got a rocket ship, Charles would CRUSH him in that same team. @@mariosaunier8509
Rofl! 😂 Faster car made difference…See how much he gained on straights. All the time he gained was on straights.

RedBull sandbagging in Q1 and Q2...
It is not to push harder than needed.
No they build up better. No need to go to limit in Q1 or Q2. That’s only to Qualify for next Q…. It’s abt nailing that FINA L LAP in Q3… that’s the focus. Max and Charles BOTH are fab at making that final step in Q3. Stroll isn’t for example. He drives too fast in Q1… not when it counts in Q2 or Q3
@@Triggernlfrl That's called sandbagging
@@lozy497 No, its called finding the limits.

To answer your question: Max made the difference. Just look at Checo.
what made the difference? talent
Max did an amazing lap but tbh he would get pole with a decent lap aswell,rb was just faster but max was still great
Verstappens tow down the straight. Two weeks in a row has been the difference to get Pole.
He’s not that quick over one lap
RB’s straight line speed is unmatched
Max makes up all the time with his corner exits, Checo gained nothing on the straights
No you can see that Max brake earlier and not so much thus sacrifice corner entry at slow and medium speed corners to have better exit and others do opposite. Also it means that he preserve much more front tyres so he can push more in high speed corners then bcs better tyres.
And why perez didnt beat alonso and leclerc if it straight line speed of the RB20 😂
@@user-wy5xe6ht2mTbh that arguement makes no sense, checo is just not that great,Max did have the best lap but lets be honest the rb was definitely the fastest car
@@user-wy5xe6ht2mPerez 12 seconds ahead of Leclerc. The RB is a rocket ship. Even Max said it.
Max made the difference. There, problem solved.
What made the difference? Rhetorical. That is obviously Max Verstappen.
Yes max did have the better lap of the 4 but the car assisted him aswell, its not like the rb wasnt the fastest because it definitely is
@@greenfj1466No, not really. The Ferrari isn´t slower on one lap...
@@k.2754 Perez said he didnt do a great lap and charles said he did a great lap yet the gap is so small between them even tho leclerc is miles better than checo,The ferrari and rb were very close in bahrain but here the rb is just better there is no arguement to prove it otherwise
@@k.2754 Yes it is you NONCE. Sainz would have done worse than Bearman. Charles is the GOTE. Last year, Charles beat Alonso in his quicker car as well while Sainz was plenty of tenths off, in 5th.

Verstappen.
What made the difference is he has the best car by miles ffs it aint that hard to understand.
So RB by far the faster car, LeClerc drove well, Alonso massive outdrives his car and Sergio is not at this level.
