Thank you for your kindness, understanding and support. It means so much to read your words, knowing you get where I'm coming from and seeing you've listened to everything I had to say.
It was incredibly hard to put this out there because I knew I'd get backlash and would open me up to reliving trauma, but after discussing this again with those who knew about this, apparently I've been saying this for years and have always held off hoping it would improve with time, professional help etc. It hasn't.
I also want to reiterate that I do not want to look drastically different as a whole, but just different enough so I can see my own identity and not someone else. It's a deep-seated trauma that will never go away and those who can't accept that, I'm sorry, but that's not my problem and I don't have to justify myself to anyone.
And naturally, I will continue therapy as well.
I do not take this decision lightly whatsoever.
Thank you again and much love to you all 💜

💜💜💜 you need to do what’s right for your mental health and other peoples thoughts on it be damned. I know how hard it is to look in the mirror to only have constant reminders of people who disgust you and have hurt you staring back. It really messes with the mind and can be extremely detrimental. You want to be seen as your own person, and not likened to others you would rather leave far in the past where they belong. You are a great friend and person Din and you will always have my support 💜 and you know I’ll always help when I can. Love you lots 💜💜💜

💜💜💜 I'm sorry that this is something that triggers you on the daily. I support you in whatever decisions and steps you take. Our bodies are our choice as to what we do with them. I never understood how people can be so judgemental of others looks. 💜💜💜 I'm proud of you for talking about it and being so open.

I’m sorry that you have to deal with this on a daily basis. Your body is exactly that, YOURS, people are horrid and I’m sorry. You have helped me in so many ways and have changed my life for the better. I will help and support in any and every way that I can 💜

That sounds incredibly difficult. wanting to change things in a practical way is very understandable and valid 💛 I hope the fundraising goes well & you get to make the changes that you need soon 💛

I'm so sorry that you are affected like this by your own body. Regardless of the reason, I could never judge you for wanting to alter your body with surgery. Your happiness and health are way more important than some rando's opinion on cosmetic surgery. Sending love & support. 💖💖💖

Just came across your channel, watched a few videos and even if it doesn't mean much, I just wanted to sent a virtual hug and mention that you are a beautiful, very thoughtful person. My english isn't the best and afraid of saying something off, I'm usually hesitant to comment on this kind of videos but starting to look like the person you don't want to see, felt familiar. I know this video is older and I hope you're in a better place...and a surgery might not be necessary anymore.
On the other hand, it really sounds like you've tried any other option and it's you alone that counts.
It's easy to expect people to look in the mirror and simply be proud of who they are. In a better world, we would be more accepting of people choices, problems and limits.
You're honest, open about your experiences and everyone who would still judge you for a surgery, doesn't listen or deserve your friendship. You seem to be a great person to be around, no matter how you look.
...But you should really update your artstation! That's unacceptable ;)

Your English is great 😊 and thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful comment. Sadly things are much the same, but I'm going to bring gradual changes to that this year. I'm sorry that you can relate however. It's an awful reality to be dealing with
And you're right about artstation! 😅 I had to remove my art when AI started to steal art and I was hoping to find a solution, but I guess it's just something we'll all have to deal with until it's regulated.
Thank you again and hope to see you around

@@BrainError I doubt anything will regulate AI. Visual artists already lost lawsuits against OpenAI, Stability AI, Midjourney, etc and senile lawmakers still haven't figured out how facebook works.
It's depressing to see and to be a part of the creative industry.
The only good thing is, that they already have all the training data they needed and you can slowly refill your portfolio 😁😬
