Hi USB,it was a lovely sight to see d bird basking.i have d same variety n d flavor n taste is just out of d world.since mine is on d ground n we have erected stone pillars for it to spread,irs growing wildly but at d same time gives us plenty of fruits. A month ago we had a visitor n she brought coconuts n sapota from her farm.i did not know what to give her in return as I had trimmed d lemon plant,papaya was yet to ripe n bananas just got oversuddenly i remembered d passion fruit n i rushed into our garden n found 4 fruits which I gladly shared with her.She was soooo happy to see them as it was her favorite.i felt v happy n thanked God for blessing me with some space where I cd grow this awesome fruit.

Hi you’re crisp n to the point. I have 4 color vines .the purple flowered profusely but no fruit .the white,red,yellow I think are not even blooming. Why ?And I love this fruit
Some are fruting types and some are ornamentals have u checked ur type
Well done video! I've been growing my passion fruit in a greenhouse in the tropics for about 8 months. I'm getting healthy vines with many flowers, but they open slightly, then drop off the vine after about a week. I tried hand pollenating but did not help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
A high nitrogen feed can cause flower dropping, could be some insect, or a temp Flux.

Sir I got red purple and white passion fruit creepers but only white giving me fruits all my plants are in open Terrace of my house I strongly believe in pot culture so iam growing all my plants in big pots with soil less mix They are doing well and healthy Now my doubt is when to prune them In mansoon or in winters in this season itself they are fruiting and others are with blooms pl I need ur advice thank U and Good night and Good morning
When u see the plant drying u can prune otherwise u can leave it alone

My passion fruit plant gave fruits for 2 seasons
but now it got dried up.
The dried branches were cut off. What should be done to the stem to make it produce new leaves so as to enhance flowering ?
Pl. refer to my query given above. The plant is a potted one and not grown in ground.
Nothing the new leaves will come up on its own

I have a fairly spread passion fruit vine (passiflora edulis) which is almost 2.5 year old. I get a lot of flowers during the season however they do not turn into fruits. Please let me know if there is any remedy to this. Thank you.

you should try to hand pollinate it.
it worked for me.
most of the bees cannot pollinate the flower because they are too small..the natural pollinator is the carpenter bee. the flower opens in the morning and closes in the evening so you have one day only to pollinate it.
Sounds like it's the runner that you mainly have grown and not the graft part which is the fruiting part of the vine. The runner just spreads as quickly as possible, always bearing flowers but no fruit. Next time get a grafted passionfruit. All the best
